Count Harper
When leaving the dormitories they went to the residence of the Count.
- Zero! - Lieutenant Fay's voice was calling him next to her sister
- Where have you been, where are you going?
- To see the Count, I suspect that he is behind the attack and the murders. Find the Colonel and send him we may need help. - Raniel ordered
- If so, we will go with you. - Hailey affirmed which only received a no from Raniel.
- You could not fight that night with their thugs maybe we can help. - Solangel added.
- Extra hands may come in handy. But you will go for the Colonel - He said to Hailey which did not accept that answer - My girl, - Raniel stopped the passage - you are not prepared nor in conditions for this. Something more than a murder happens here. Obey me, please. - Hailey sighed deeply and without another word she left in the controlled rain.
Raniel, Zero and Solangel made their way to the Residence of Count Harper.
- Welcome - A man received them. - Ahead
(This is the wretch who attacked us 6 feet tall and about 185 pounds)
They entered what was a huge and dark dining room. Very curious lamps adorned and a huge window overlooked the back of the residence where the mysterious airship was appreciated.
- It's much bigger than the cafeteria - Zero commented
-Welcome! - The Count greet them - Sub Lieutenant Knight, Inspector Cautillo. And this beauty?
- Lieutenant Fay
- Oh? We finally meet
(He never met her he thinks she is Hailey)
- Yes - Solangel answered without knowing exactly what was happening but understood in a certain way
They sat and got served a special. Raniel proceeded to smell the cup which made him remember that first night when he was attacked at the hotel and when he saw Jarvet's shattered organs.
- Is there anything new in solving my son's case?
- Well, I must admit that it is a complicated case without many clues.
- I see, How did they destroy the turtle? - He asked a little anxiously.
(I hadn't thought it was a mechanical turtle. That means you saw it, you didn't help us and you didn't warn us)
- Is that what interests you most? Why did you murder your son and Jarvet?
Solangel and Zero were very surprised at Raniel's expressions. An eternal silence took hold of the Count followed by a laugh.
- What gave me away?
- On the night I arrived I felt that you showed no interest in the death of your son. You did not give me details about Jarvet's investigation and if I am sure of one thing, you knew several because he was your guest in the evenings for dinner. Your desperation to hide the new airship prototype you possess led to planning an attack days before but your son disagreed. That's why he threw the barrels into the sea. He didn't want to attack the academy, I'm sure the boy was confused between love or any brainwashing you gave him. The best thing is that the night of the attack on the hotel I never said that they were more than one attacker and you specifically asked for them. Finally, you poisoned my friend and mentor with this damn tea. - Raniel affirmed throwing the cup to the ground.
