Harshita's phone was ringing...being sleepy..she ignored it but it started ringing again

"Hello?"she asked in a frustrated voice
"Good morning Harshu"
She looked at the clock
"It's 7am Darshan"Harshita said
"I know"He replied
"Wake up you lazy head"he said
"Tsk...why did you call?"Harshita asked
"To wake you up....I am coming to pick you up in an hour..be ready"he said and hung up
"Dar-.....ahhh.. what's with him in the morning"Harshita said and stood up in annoyance

"Good morning papa"She greeted him
"Arey...aaj toh Saturday hai..how are you up so early?"He asked
"Actually...Darshan ka kuch kaam hai"Harshita answered
"OhHhHhH"Rishabh said coming down
"Baith..chai ready hai"
"Nahi...Maasi main already late hu"Harshita said to the maid as she received a call from Darshan
"Darshan avya che?"Her father asked peeking outside
"Haa..maybe"She said
"Call him inside na"her mother said
She dialed his number

"Are you there?"Harshita asked
"Haa jaldi aaja"he said
"Umm..andar aao na"
"Arey nahi nahi.. we'll get late..come out"
"Mumma papa is calling you"
"I'll meet them while going...abhi tum hi aajao"He said
"Okay"

"He said he'll meet you while going"
"Theek che...jaldi vapas aana"her parents said
"Yess"She said and went out

"Hiiiii"he waved from the window
She just smiled
"Why did you wake up so early today?"Harshita asked sitting inside
"I always wake up early"Darshan said
"Huh..in your dreams"She said
"Jaldi utha Karo...gym vym jao... weekend aaya nahi ki 12 baje Tak soti ho"He said starting the car
"Ohh please...I do exercise okay"She replied
"Ha ha...dekha Maine Aaj"He teased
"Shut up"

He stopped the car infront of gym

"Gym?"She asked looking outside
"Yes.. let's go"He said getting out and opened the door for her
"Thank you"
He smiled at her
"How long has it been"he asked
"For?"She was confused
"Since you have entered a gym"
"Yaah!"
He laughed at her

"I can do better than you"Harshita said
"Oh really"
"Hmm"she said
"Then let's do a challenge"Darshan said
"c-challenge?"Harshita hesitated
"Kyu...dar gayi?"He asked
"Tumse..dar.. please...I also go to the gym sometimes..and I had my own workout space in LA"Harshita said
"Let's see then"
"Sure"she replied

"Darshan..yaha"
"Aayaaa..chalo"Darshan said to Harshita
"Aaj itni jaldi"
"Haa...bola chalo Aaj subah subah Jake Om bhai ka din accha kar dete hai"Darshan answered
Harshita chuckled internally
Om looked at Harshita
"Ohh haa...this is Harshita..Harshu..this is Om bhai..my gym trainer"Darshan introduced
"Hello"
"Hii"
They shook their hands

"Om bhai...aaj ek kaam hai... we'll do a competition"Darshan said
"Competition?"Om asked
"Haa.. between me and her"Darshan answered
"Okay"
"First let's get done with your workout"Om said
"Ha ha"Darshan replied

"Let's do pull ups....will it be okay for you Harshita?"Om asked
"Pull ups?umm fine"She answered with a smile
"Now you'll see a different Darshan"Darshan whispered in her ear while going
"Here.... let's see who can do more pull-ups"Om said
"Ofcourse Me"Darshan said
"So much overconfidence"Harshita said keeping her phone on the nearest table
"Let's see"

Both of them had their individual pull up bars that too facing eachother

"Let's start at the same time okay?....3..2...1"Om counted

"Woww...Harshita is giving tough competition"Om said
Taking advantage of them being infront of each other...Darshan thought of using his flirting skills...he looked directly in her eyes...Harshita looked around

Darshan continued staring at her

Getting his intentions...Harshita decided to play along
She maintained the eye contact

Harshita winked at Darshan..and there our boy lost his balance and fell

"Woahh...Harshita won!"Om said
"Nooo...she cheated"Darshan said getting up
"Me?how?"Harshita asked innocently
"Achha bete..you don't remember huh?"Darshan said putting his hand on his waist
"Tu chup kar...naak kata di yaar Darshan tune...kal extra 5"Om said
"Kyaaaa...are-"
"All the best"Harshita said with a thumbs up

"Such a cheater you are"Darshan said
"Really?you are the one who started"Harshita said
He smiled sarcastically and opened the car door
His phone rang
"Hello?"
"KYA?...kaha ho tum?... Okay...I'll be there"He said and hung up

"What happened?"Harshita asked
"Dhruwal...one of my friend met an accident...I'll have to go... I'll drop you and then go"He said hurrying everything
"Darshan..wait..I'll go by myself..I think you should go asap"Harshita said
"Nahi il-"
"It's fine...go..and text me if anything is serious okay"she said stepping out
He nodded and drove off

Anshika took a cab and went home..to her surprise there were her father's friends..and it looked like they were going somewhere

"Namaste uncle"
"Namaste beta"
She touched their feets
"Tame kyanka jave cho?"(are you going somewhere?)
"Beta woh..humara ek friend hai..achanak death hogayi....agle hafte beti ki shadi thi uske...eklauti ladki ki shaadi bhi nahi dekh paya bechara"Pawan's friend said
Harshita looked at Pawan who was blankly staring at something

For the very first time she saw her father like that...she saw fear in his eyes...fear of the thing that he won't be able to see his daughter getting married as well..maybe that's why they were hurrying her marriage with Darshan

"Papa"she caressed his hand
"Theek se jao...aur jaldi aana"
He nodded and left

Around 9...Pawan came back...they had dinner and went to their respective rooms

"Is everything all right?"Harshita asked as soon as Darshan picked up
"Haa..it isn't serious..bas kuch fractures hai..aaj ke liye hospital me rakhenge and he'll get discharge tomorrow"Darshan answered
"Ohh..thank god"
"Khaana hogaya?"Harshita asked
"Nahi abhi ja rahe hai..wbu?"He asked
"Ha..abhi"She answered
"Don't be tensed ha... he'll be fine"Harshita sensed difference in his voice and said
Darshan smiled at her words
"Ofcourse...jiske paas tum ho..wo kaise tension lega"he tried to sound normal
Harshita blushed
"Okay..bye then..good night"
"Good night"Darshan said and hung up

Harshita thought about Pawan all night

Next day:

"Agar mujhe kuch ho jaye...toh Harshu ka acche se dhyan rakhna Rishu"Harshita heard their conversation
"Papa kya baat kar rahe ho ye"Rishabh said
"Ab zindagi ka kya bata sakte hai...aaj hai .kal nahi"he said
Harshita teared up

"Good morning Mumma...good morning papa "Harshita came out after sometime
"Morning beta"Jayashri replied
"Good morning"Pawan Said with a smile
"Am I invisible?"Rishabh asked
"Yes"Harshita said
"Excuse me"he looked at her
"You are excused"Harshita replied
"Papa tumari chokrine juo"(look at your daughter)Rishabh said
"Wow..Sundar hai"Pawan replied
"Mai bhi kise complain kar Raha hu🙂"Rishabh said to himself

"You can decide the date for gor dhana"Harshita said
"WHAT"Rishabh said in shock
"Are you serious"Jayashri stood up
"Serious chodo..are you drunk"Rishabh asked smelling
"Chii..hat"Harshita pushed him
"Papa I am ready for gor dhana...you can talk with Raval's and decide the date"she said
Pawan's eyes sparkled

"Harshu you are not forced..you can take your time"He said
"I did...and I think..Darshan is a good guy to be with"Harshita said recalling all his gentleman gestures
"I'll just inform them"Jayashri said going towards the phone
"Rajendra ke phone pe karna"Pawan said following her

Harshita chuckled seeing their excitement
"Are you sure...Harshu you are not doing it under pressure right?"Rishabh asked
"No bhai...I really think Darshan is good"She said with a smile
"Alright then"He smiled,patted her head and went

She thought about what she said
"Shit...I didn't tell Darshan about this"Harshita said to herself
