"You should talk to them." Ben said which made Taylor snap away from her cousins without a blink and look at Ben. She scoffed and shoved her Ipad back into her bag. "I'm good. I don't want to deal with any of them right now."

Ben sighed and soflty pulled her back by her arm. "Taylor, listen. When Mal and I viseted Arendalle... Elsa, Anna, and Jack were full of regret."

"And? Let them be regretfull. It's not any of my problem." Taylor spoke as she pulled away from Ben. "Besides, Mal said she was practically glairing at them the entire time you guys were there. So they might have been intimidated or somthing like that. They don't want naything to do with me, and I don't don't want anything to do with them."

Ben rolled his eyes at her. He opened his mouth to speak but was cut off by Taylor. "Look, I have to go. Carlos' waiting and we have to get to class." SHe motioned over to her friend that patiently waited with Dude just a few meters away from the two. "I'll send the final design for the gift later." Without another word spoken, she rushed over to her white-haired crush.

Carlos frowned as he noticed Taylor's demeanour, "You alright?"
Taylor nodded, "When am I not, C?"

He knew she wasn't though.

After long hours of classes, Taylor decided to support Carlos and Jay during their fencing practice despite wanting to crawl in bed and sleep before her date with Carlos later in the day. She stood with Jane and the rest of the cheer team. They looked down at the boys as they lined up in preparation.

Taylor and Jane had a small conversation about Cotillion and who would be taking who.

"So, who's your date? I honestly already have an idea who it might be though." Jane said as Taylor furrowed her eyebrows in confusion.

"Carlos? I thought you guys were going out since you have those little date almost every week. I really thought he already asked to to Cotillion as well."

"Well, he hasn't. And I don't think he really will."

Their conversation was cut short as a competitor overthrew everyone else on the floor. Taylor's eyes widened as Jay was also overpowered. Eventually, the mysterious fencer was revealed to be Lonnie herself.

"Whoo! What a badass!" Taylor squealed.

"You shoud put me on the team." Lonnie said while she puffed for air. Chad dramatically gasped, "What? No no no, we'll be the laughing stock of the league. And what's gonna happen next? We'll have girls playing tourney? Come on guys."

Taylor frowned in frustration. What's the big deal if girls played on the same team as the guys?

As if her mind was read, Jay spoke, "So?"

Chad scoffed, "Have you not read the rule book? Section two, paragraph three; 'team will be comprised of a captin and eight men.' You should read the rule book."

"Okay, yeah, but you're down a man. You know since Ben had to leave to do all that King stuff." Lonnie argued back.

"Exactaly, we're down a man." Chan said emphasied the word 'man'.

"I'm sorry. Coach trusts me. I'm not gonna stay captine if I just throw out the rule book." Jay told her.

"If my mother thought that way, she would've lost the war." Lonnie said before sighing and walked away. Taylor sighed as practice concluded. Jane and the cheer squad moved away from the balcony and left Taylor alone. She looked down at her phone as text from Evie; It's time for your fitting before your little date! Hurry up!

Taylor texted her back telling her that she would be there soon. "Taylor! Taylor, hey." Carlos called from below. Taylor turned around, her light blonde hair rested on her shoulder as she stuffed her phone into her sweater pocket. Carlos' sweater to be exact. "Hey, C. What's up?"

"Not much. You?" Carlos shrugged.

"Way to much, honestly. Ben's gift for Mal fo Cotillion is taking up so much of my time, I haven't been song writting in about two weeks. And what makes things worse is I'm not even getting any typ of payment for this. Ben said he's paying me with 'friendship?' I mean can you believe that?" She sighed.

"Yeah, that's a bummer. Uh, speaking of Cotillion-"

"I know right? It's all anybody's talking about. It's just Cotillion this, Cotillion that 24/7. It's like they've never been to onw before." Taylor ranted while she fiddled with her rings.

"T, we haven't been to one." Carlos slightly chuckled with a hint of confusion.

"Yeah, well. Honestly, I could live without going to one in my life. Why don't we just skip the thing." Carlos tried to speak, but stuggled to find the correct words to ask the girl to Cotillion.

Taylor's phone buzzed as it showed the Evie was trying to call her. "Evie needs me, sorry. I'll see you later for the date though!" She her crush a small smile before she turned and ran in the direction of Mal and Evie's dorm.
