Taylor crept up behind Carlos as he held her hand tightly in his as they were both squatting behind a bush.

The plan was that the group was going to ambush Audrey. They made it to her cottage that she caused most of her mischeif in. Luckily for them, Audrey would bring Ben every Fairy Godmother's day. So, Ben was they lead to the cottage.

The coast was clear with no sigh of Audrey outside before they made a run for the door, breaking in. The group split up through the small house. Soon, they all came back to the front room with no sight of the princess.

A whimpering sound filled all their ears, making everyone look at each other in confusion. A door to a closet soon then began being banged on, to which Ben made his way to the closet to open it. Chad was seen to be in the floor, his knes to his ches as he whimpered and rocked back and forth in fear.

"Chad?" Kira asked.

"Buddy, what happened?" Ben asked as he knelt down to Chad's level.

Chad looked up at Ben and the rest of the group, his eyed widening. "The door is open. I'm free. Freedom!" Chad then kissed Ben's cheek before running past the group and out the door, shouting in victory.

"Who's the momma's boy?" Isa asked with her arms crossed.

"Chad Charming. Son of Cinderella and King Charming." Kira answered the girl.

The group them walked out of the cottage, exhaused of their work all day.

"Ooh. Alright. Let's get this Audrey chick taken care of already. What do you say, girls? Time to wrap things up?" Uma said as they chuckled at her statement.

"Yeah, this chick's driving me crazy." Isa spoke up.

"You know, someday, you're gonna have to tell me how you guys all got teamed up." Ben said, chuckling at Uma and Isa.

"Actually, Mal promised to let all the kids off the Isle once this is over." Evie said with a wide smile on her face.

"That means Oscar wouldn't compleately lose you, Isa." Taylor smiled as Isa smile back at the girl and her twin brother.

Mal let out a sigh before walking ahead from them and turned to face the group. "I have to tell you guys something."

The group came to a halt and turned their attention to their purple-haired friend.

"I lied to you." Mal stated as everyone plasterd a confused face. "The kids won't be coming off the Isle or Ahtohollan."

"What do you mean?" Carlos asked.

"The program is shut down. And the barrier, will be closed for good." Mal spoke as tears started forming in her eyes.

Taylor froze in her place as Harry grunted, pointing at Mal with a tight smile on his lips.

"For Auradon's safety." Ben added, a sad tone to his voice.

Taylor looked over at Evie, the two girls had the same expression on their faces. Taylor then looked over at Oscar, who was glaring daggers at Mal, then over at Taylor.

"Hold up," Ums started, walking loser to the purple-haired girl. "So, we're saving your precious people, and your behinds for a lie? I knew it was a mistake to trust you. You're always out for yourself."

"And you, King Benny," Harry pointed to Ben while making his was over to him. "You're probably just gonna throw us all back inside."

"You know what? I actually thought you were brave." Celia began as Taylor held onto Carlos' arm. "You're nothing but a chicken. Too scared to tell me I was never gonna see my dad again."

"Yeah, and you were too scared to tell me I was never going to see my sister or my mother again." Oscar started, turning back and forth from Mal and Taylor as tears threatened to fall from his eyes.

"No, Oscar, I didn't know about this, I swear." Taylor tried convinsing him as Oscar walked over to Mal, taking the ember from her hands and dropping it into the bird fountain.

"Oscar! No! No! No."

Everyone watched at Oscar, Isa, and Celia ran off into the forest.

Mal picket up the ember from the fountain. "Regain your might and ignite! No. Regain your might and ignite!"

She turned and looked at Uma to see if she would re-power the ember with her shell. "Bumer. Le's go find Gil and leave them all to rot."

Harry and Uma walked away from the others, leaving them behind. Evie stood infront of Mal while Taylor looked at her two best friends.

"Evie, I'm so sorry. I'm sorry, I just, I thought that, I was afraid to tell you. I thought I was gonna lose my best friends. But, I had to do something. I had to protect Auradon." Mal sniffled, trying to explain her reason to close the barrier.

"Closing the barrier was your idea?" Evie asked.

"I did it for us. I did it for, our life that we have here now." Mal reffered the the five of them and how amazing and happy they felt at Auradon.

"Our life? What about those kids we left on that Island? The kids that we promised. we were their only hope." Evie stated, pointing in the direction of the Isle, tears in her eyes.

"I thought you were gonna stand up for the VK's, but instead you lied to them." She stated again.

"And you lied to Jay, and you lied to Carlos, and you lied to Taylor, and you lied to me. We're your family." Evie said before walking back and over to the others.

"Evie," Mal pleaded. "Come on, I had no choise!" Was the last thing they heared before they all turned to stone right in front of Mal's face.
