Happy Birthday Elise!

It's been four years since "The Littlest Timelord" series began. I was living in Arkansas and was unable to spend Christmas with my family due to work, so I started this series because I hadn't seen anyone do a doctor's daughter story following Moffat's era. This series is everything I wanted in a Doctor Who series, so I wrote it for myself and I'm glad you've all come on this journey with me!

In honor of the 4th anniversary, I figured I'd give you another sneak peek at this story. This is from "Daleks in Manhattan/Evolution of the Daleks".

"Why are you helping them?" Elise asked the Doctor, "They don't deserve it."

"They want to evolve."

"What's to stop them from trying to take over the galaxy again?"

She knew this wouldn't work. The Paradigm Daleks would still exist. They'd still put herself and the Doctor into the Pandorica.

"How old are you?" he asked her.

"I fail to see how that matters."

"Well in my 900 years of existence, I've learned that most people aren't above redemption."

Daleks didn't deserve redemption, along with Madame Kovarian.

"They killed our people!"

"And so have I!"

That took Elise back to House. When he told her for the first time that he was responsible for killing the Timelords.

"Am I not above redemption?"

"No. I mean, yes, but that's not what I meant..."

The Doctor turned away from her and she felt her hearts break a little.
