Hi everyone. I feel like we need to have a little talk.
In December, the new Doctor Who specials premiered and someone started chatting in the back of my brain. The inspiration to write came back. Then I decided that Elise wouldn't be participating in the specials (as a major character anyway). So I just went back to writing her story.
In April, I participated in Magical Readathon on YouTube. This was my first year of actually completing the prompts, so reading took up all my time. When it was over, I was hit with all of these great video ideas. My hyperfixation has shifted to reading. Now, I work a 9-5 job dealing with the general public. I'm a natural introvert (who could've guessed right?), so I'm exhausted after work. I have to decide what to spend my evening on. Most people don't realize how much goes into writing and most days I just want to turn my brain off and get lost in a book.
Now that I've said all this: I'm not abandoning Elise and her story. I'm just not feeling very inspired to write right now. Updates will be few and far between. This is just where I am right now in life. I'm no longer working retail where I'm off two or three days a week, so I don't have a lot of time for writing.
I love Elise and the Doctor and I can't wait to share their stories with you. I just need some more time.
