Presley pov:
I was a low life as many would say. I had no ambitions to do anything with my life. I just was waiting for my life to slowly fade out but in my opinion it was taking to long. I was on my way to a party because knew my dealer would be there.I pulled a cigarette out and lit it as I walked to the party. Cigarettes, drugs, and alcohol was all my life consisted of. I use to be a happy child but I had to grow up fast at the age of 15. I'm now 18 and it has yet to get easier.
It was Fall so it was starting to get cold but luckily I brought my flannel to give me at least a little bit of warmth. I blew the smoke out of my mouth feeling the nicotine filling my lungs. I knew it wasn't good for me but I stopped caring about what was good for me long time ago.
I finally arrived at the house to see it packed. Hopefully I'll get what I need and can leave as soon as possible. The garage door was open and there was a lot of people in there. I quickly saw Andrew on the couch and I approached him. " hey in here for the regular but could you give ne a little extra? I have the money."
⚠️Andrew pulled out a baggie of coke and it was definitely more than what I normally get. He also pulled out a bag of meth. It looked so pretty. " that'll be $80."
I handed him the money and he gave me the baggies. I took them in my hand and headed to the bathroom to get my fix for the night.I was pretty familiar with the house since this was me and Andrews normal meeting spot. I held onto the handrail of the stairs and approached the door. I knocked on it to make sure no one was in there. I didn't get a response so I twisted the knob and walked in.
I lined the coke up on the bathroom sink. I put it in a pretty and neat line. I put my nose up to it and snorted the line. It wasn't enough though so I took another. And then a third one. I would save the meth for later.
I slid onto the cold bathroom floor and let the coke work it's way into my bloodstream. It felt nice but as time ticked on I started to feel different. I've never felt this before. Before I knew it my eyesight went black.
Tom pov:
I was given the task of keeping my eye on a girl named Presley Scott. I had no idea who she was or why but my father told me it was important. He was the boss of our "job" so whatever he said went. I was second in line since I was his oldest child. Only by ten minutes but it still counts.I was told she would be at some party tonight and was given the address and a photo of what she looked like. She was ok looking but definitely not my type. I sat in my car listening to music on the way to this house.
When I pulled in it was packed so my job would be really difficult to find her. I saw the garage door was open so I walked in. I tried to blend in so I wouldn't stick out. I spotted a girl with really long blonde hair. She turned her face slightly to the side and I saw it was her. I guess the picture I was given was older because she looked a lot better in person.
I watched her actions from across the garage and saw her take two bags from some man. I got a druggy on my hand great. I hate dealing with them. She walked through a door I guess inside of the house. I waited a few seconds and then followed her so no one would think I was stalking her.
I spotted her going up the stairs so I waited to see what door she went in before going up them. Once I saw her open a door I stood outside waiting to see if I hear anything. It was radio silent. After a few minutes I decided I would walk away. I wasn't told a plan on what to do when I saw her just told to follow her actions and to always keep a close eye on her. Dad said to make sure she was safe.
Before I could walk away I heard a loud thud. Maybe she just fell but I couldn't hear a sound of her getting up. I tried to turn the knob and realized she didn't lock the door. That was stupid of her.
I opened the door to see she had hit her head and was unconscious. She would make this job harder wouldn't she. I picked her body up and decided to take her to my car. Everyone here was strung out so no one said anything when I walked threw the crowd carrying her unconscious body. I opened the car door and placed her in the back seat so she could lay down.
I decided to drive to a secluded area so I could keep and eye on her incase something was wrong. I pulled into an old abandoned park. I turned the car off and just sat there. After some time I heard her making a noise so I knew she was conscious and hadn't od or anything. I knew where she lived thanks to my dad so I turned the car back on and decided to drive her home.
When we arrived to her house I took her out and headed to the front door. I tried to turn it but it was locked. I didn't know what to do but she would be awake soon. I gently placed her outside of the front door of her house and walked back to my car. I didn't know this girl so why would I care where she ended up. Dad said as long as she was safe and she'll be safe when she wakes up at her own house. Right?
