I got ready to go out but I still wasn't really speaking to anyone. I got dressed in some baggy ripped jeans, a black cropped top and some white shoes. I did my hair and makeup and felt decent enough with how I looked. I headed down the stairs to see everyone was waiting for me.
" is it ok if Ansley sits up front with me?" Bill asked nicely. I looked up at him and nodded. When we got there we realized that there wasn't enough room for all of us in bills car so some how I got stuck riding with Tom.
I opened the door and took out a cigarette. I took the lighter and out the cigarette to my lips and inhaled as I lit it. Tom got in the car and I could tell he wasn't happy about having to drive me.
I saw him arguing with bill before getting in the car. When he sat down he did the same as me and got a cigarette ready. He turned on some music and sped off to the bar. We didn't speak only listend to the music playing.
Thankfully it wasn't a far drive so I didn't have to be with him very long. When he put the car in park I got out before he could even turn it off. Andrew had texted me saying he was in the back.
I went there before even going in. " hi Presley" I didn't say anything I just handed him the last ten dollars I had to my name.
" it's ok it's free this time I figure you really needed it." I thanked him and took the baggie from his hand.
I turned around and headed to the inside of the bar. Thankfully I couldn't see any of the people in my group. I headed to the bar and saw my favorite bartender. He didn't even have to ask he slid two shots of vodka in front of me and I threw them back indicating I needed more.
I didn't have any of this for 4 months and it felt great to get it back into my system.he placed two more shots in front of me and I took them. I needed something more.
I stood up and walked to the bathroom. I took the baggie out and placed two lines on the sink and snorted them. The sweet relief of coke finally being in my system again felt amazing.
I walked out of the bathroom to be faced with an obviously drunk Tom. " hey Presley you look good tonight."
I had to admit Tom was attractive but I knew I shouldn't get involved with someone like him. He'll hurt me and I'll hurt him. I tried to walk past him but he took my wrist gently into his hand.
" I really want to get to know you Presley."
" and why would you want to do something like that?"
" I don't know really but I guess if you're going to be stuck with us I might as well get to know you."
I studied his face to try and see if he was telling the truth or not. I slowly leaned forward until our foreheads were touching. Before I could process anything our lips touched.
I felt his cold lip piercing touch my lips and it sent shivers down my spine. I've never felt that way about anyone. When we separated I looked at his eyes. This was a mistake I walked past him and left.
I walked outside and sat down and took a cigarette out and lit it. " mind if I join you?"
It was that Ansley girl Bill was talking to or dating. I nodded at her and she sat down next to me. She took a cigarette out of her pocket and lit it as well.
"I'm Ansley by the way."
" I know bill told me"
" oh I'm sorry so how are you?"
" just fine." Of course that was sarcasm I was depressed beyond belief.
" bill is a good guy he told me that you and I were kind of similar in a couple ways."
" if by we both smoke and wear similar clothes then that's about it."
I stood up and walked away. I wanted to go see my mom. I just left her there and I really didn't care.
Bill pov:
Tom joined us from going to the bathroom and he seemed weird but it's probably just the alcohol. " hey Presley left and I don't know where she went.""What do you mean she left Ansley?"
" we were sitting outside smoking and she just got up and walked away. I tried to see where she was going but so many cars were going by I lost her."
" come on guys let's go find her."
We all got in our cars and drove ti see where she could be. I told Tom to go one one side of the city and we would go to the other. He didn't put up an argument for once and did as I said.
We needed to find her soon because it looked like it was about to rain and she could get sick if she wasn't at home.
