Its the most wonderful time of the year. And I agree, mostly. When it comes to love, ideally, Christmas-themed romance is the dream. I mean, imagine getting nothing but gifts for all your life and then, this Christmas, being just someone who makes you feel complete. It's beautiful to think that having someone who loves you can make you feel that way.

And what else is great about Christmas? the parties, of course! I love that, so far, all that I've been in has been pretty enjoyable. I still remember my last year's Christmas party. I had nothing but love and friends on my mind. Though I had just broken up with Jeremy around October, I slowly began to move on and go forward because of my friends and family. I had the best Christmas gift ever that year. I got back to reading. It doesn't seem like a lot, but it was life-changing for me. I love reading, and I love feeling romanced by the inked words on every page.

Movies, stories, songs, and more. The mix of love and Christmas brings out a very hopeful happiness in anyone searching or waiting. If you're lucky enough, someone may even dedicate a song to you-a love song, but Christmas-themed! If you're ever into that, I am all for that. There were so many classic Christmas romance movies I consumed, and I want my life to be almost that. Though our own stories can sometimes be realistic, it's not wrong to daydream, right?

This year, I didn't expect to find love. I thought it would take a long time. But to Santa, I've been a good kid. I was pretty surprised at how, in one whole year, my life would change. The people I care about and my own person completely evolved into who I was last year. I mean, last year I would definitely be so confused as to why I got back to reading, started watching musicals, gained a new best friend, and fell in love with a nerd who is just the sweetest man I've ever fallen for; she would not believe it.

Though my Christmas isn't perfect due to some circumstances, I'm glad I've gotten love and presents from new friends. I'm very grateful for all that I have received, and I hope my dear readers are too. Because, just like the cliché saying, 'Christmas is about love and the people who surround you that love you,' I hope my next Christmas can be as great as all the others. And to those waiting for love under the tree, maybe Santa has already given it, but it's not who you expected it to be.
