The Healing Center was the same old, same old. Elwin's office a mess and everything else in the same place. But for some reason it seemed brighter. Maybe that was a good sign.
Maybe the DNA test would be a good idea. Maybe that's what everything is saying. As in the brighter room that is usual dark.
Sophie went into Elwin's office. Elwin looked up and smiled. He went over and hugged Sopie and then Lizzy and then he said,"So, what brings Miss Foster today?"
"The DNA test to find Lizy's father," shev took a deep breath,"that would be the best thing for her."
"Ok. I think that would be best. Let's start." Elwin walked over to Lizzy and said,"Hi, sweety. Can you like this for me. It tastes like mallowmelt." Lizzy looked excited and said, "Mallowmelt!" licking it. She smiled her dazzling smile and then watched as the square turns the colors of the rainbow.
It ended on green, showing that it has her DNA. Then, Elwin grabbed Fitz's, Keefe's, Dex's and Sophie's DNA. He tapped Sophie's and then Lizzy's with her finger and then Keefe's. He did the same with Keefe's and Fitz's.
Sophie gasped when she saw the results. Dex's and Keefe's had turned red but Gitz's turned green.
"Does that mean Fitz is the father." Sophie asked. Elwin nodded.
It's Fitz.
