With Fitz kneeling in front of the rainbow waterfall, bubbles flying around him, it looked like a dream. But of course, it wasn't. It was real.
Sophie k neeled doen on both knees and kissed him. Some eater from the water fall splashed them, ruining the moment, but it was still beautiful. "Is that a yes?" Fitz asked. She nodded her head.
"Really!?" Fitz said. "I wasn't expecting you to say yes right away! I mean, we just found out I was Lizzy's father today. And with everything-" Sophie interrupted him with a kiss.
"Let's just announce it to our family, okay?" She said. "Actually, I think we should wait. I mean, Keefe and Dex don't even know that you picked me?" Sophie hit herself in the face.
"Heh heh. Um... do you think I could just, call them?" She said. Fitz thought for a moment and then said,"I guess. Atleast you are still talking to them and not sending a letter or something."
She nodded and walked towards another of her favorite waterfalls. It was a four seasons one that reminded her of every season. It would start out red, orange and yellow and splashed drops that were luke warm. Then, it would turn frozen and instead of drops, there was snowflakes. Then, there was a water fall that looked normal, but it had brightly colored flowers floating in it and the drops were warm. The last change was that it had really hot water and every person sees a different thing in it, things that remind them of summer. Sophie saw swimsuits and flip flops and sun.
Sophie finally called Keefe on her Imparter, instead of staring at the waterfall. He answered right away, but he was at the Sanctuary. He worked there. "Hey, Foster. Call I g to say you love me?" He said, then frowned when he saw that she flinched. "What is it, Sophie?" He asked. "I picked Fitz, because he is Lizzy's father. But I love him too." She said, getting quieter and quieter until the last words were less than a whisper. "Well, fine! I will just go date Biana. She'll like that."
"Keefe! Biana is-" but she didn't get to finish because he hung up. If that went bad, then Dex's was probably going to be worse. "Hey, Sophie," Dex said, smiling with his dimples. "What's up?" Sophie flinched. He was being so friendly.
"I wanted to say that Fitz is Lizzy's dad and I picked him." She said. Dex's smile faded. "Oh. Okay. Well, your still my best friend. That's good enough. How many boys can say they are best friends with Sophie Foster?" He smiled again, but not enough to show his dimples. "True." She answered. "Well, I've got to go. Bye." He waved and Sophie hung up. That went better than Keefe's call.
"What did yoy say to Keefe?" Fitz asked as she walked towards him. "Well, he asked if I called to say I love him. I said 'No. I love Fitz and he is Lizzy's father." He got mad and then hung up. Why?"
"Well, he called and was yelling at me. And he also said to get ready for Glittery's sparkly poop." Glittery is the baby alicorn. Keefe is in charge at the Sanctuary so he can get sparkly poop whenever he wants. He is still the same prankster.
"We're all used to his pranks. But still, I'd watch out."Sophie said. "Ok," he answered. "Should we go to Everglen and get Lizzy? Then we can spend so.e time with her." Sophie nodded and Fitz grabbed her hand.
He pulled out his pathfinder and leaped them to Everglen. To Sophie's child. Their child.
