christmas special!

Ribbon and now Christmas lights surrounded me into a hug. "Thanks, (y/n)!"

I glued the two pieces of the mask back together. "Aw, no problem, Gangle."

Gangle placed it back on and smiled, tears gone. She waved at me as she skipped off shyly, her new holiday-themed avatar consisting of multicolored Christmas lights and her classic red ribbon.

I began to put supplies back away, storing the super glue into a drawer where Jax couldn't find it and exiting my room. Swinging the door open, I was met with a new color of overalls.

Arms surrounded me and pulled me close to a purple bunny's chest. "Hey, mousie."

I melted into the hug, appreciating the warmth of the periwinkle rabbit. "Hey, Jax. What are you wearing?"

"Oh, this?" Jax pulled back to reveal the new clothes that he had. "I had to fit into the theme."

He had new red overalls, the huge pocket in the front now colored white with white fluff lining the rest of the fabric. He also had a new black-and-red colored flannel in a plaid pattern.

His eyes studied me. "Now, what are you wearing?"

"Uh..." I blushed.

I had a knit argyle vest that was colored white and maroon along with my signature blouse-only that it was now colored white. A cute skirt with the same white tint was paired with my outfit, as well as sheer tights with a cute and cozy set of winter boots. My beanie was now a Santa hat as well.

He leaned down and whispered into my ear. "You look beautiful... quite adorable, my dear bunny."

My face burned red as Jax swung an arm around my back and lifted me bridal style, careful not to drop me. I shrieked, kicking at him. "Jax! Put me down!"

He leaned his face down towards mine. "How about... no."

I grumbled. "Jax, where are you taking me?"

"Shush, mousie. Just wait. Aaand... Here we are!"

I gasped at the sight as Jax gently put me down. A huge Christmas tree stood in the center of the tent, each ornament about the same height as me. At the top of the tree a golden star was placed, shining brightly.

"Whoa..." I said, awestruck.

Jax slung his arm around my shoulder and pulled me along. "Let's get going, mousie."

"@-$&#! You almost made me fall!"

He winked as his face turned a hue redder. "I don't mind you falling for me..."

I covered my face as more red formed on my cheeks. "Jax!"

He put a finger under my chin, forcing me to look up. "Don't be shy, now..."

I smacked his hand away. "Jax, shut up."

Jax smirked, taking his arm off my shoulder to intertwine hands with me. He pressed a kiss to my forehead. "Merry Christmas."

I hugged him. "Merry Christmas."

We headed under the tree where everyone else sat down in a circle. It was interesting to see that everyone had changes to their avatars.

Pomni, who now had green instead of blue on her avatar, motioned me over. "Hey, (y/n)!"

I smiled at her. "Hi Pomni."

I sat down next to her and started having a friendly conversation, but Jax tugged at my arm. Confused, I looked at him. "Wha-"

Jax pulled harder this time, making me yelp as he forced me into his lap and wrapped his arms around me, trapping me. His head leaned between my mouse ears as he sighed, closing his eyes. "Cutie."
