A/N. I just counted and in 41 chapters I have wrote 10 with smut in them. 😳😳😳 seriously I may have a problem because I am by no means out of ideals. But... I don't feel like the story is suffering for them. If I'm wrong let me know. What can I say. I like my smut with plot.

At the Salvatore Boarding House Damon's fixing himself a drink in the living room when his phone rings. He doesn't recognize the number but he answers it. "You're interrupting my drink."

"You miss me?" Demands a familiar flirty voice.

"Katherine. Where are you?" He asks.

"Lurking outside your window, pining away." She mocks.

"What do you want?" He already sounds over her and takes a drink.

"I'm homesick. What have I missed?" Katherine asks.

"Well, Stefan's still Klaus' little prisoner and Elena and Ember still think him can be saved and no one's thought about you since you left." He runs down current events.

"And what about you? I'm sure now that you've given up on your brother you and Em are having all sorts of fun frolicking naked."

"Please don't think about my girlfriend any way. Much less naked. And I didn't give up on him. I just don't know where he is." Damon snaps.

"Hmm." She makes a noise.

"But you do. Are you trailing them?" Damon asks.

"A hybrid who wants me dead and his sidekick who's off the rails? I couldn't be further away." She explains.

"Which means you know exactly where they are." Damon points out.

"All I know is that Klaus pitched a fit once his hybrids didn't work. Now he's looking for some answers." Katherine admits.

"How do you know that?" Damon demands.

"Spend 500 years running, and there will be a few people along the way that are looking out for you." She hints.

"Is that what you're doing? Looking out for my brother?"

"Maybe, maybe not. I'm conflicted." Her voice get serious. "But I am looking out for Ember Damon, and if Klaus starts asking questions it's going to lead him back to Mystic Falls. "

"Where are they?" Damon asks.

Ember is in Damon's bedroom, sleeping. She turns over and her hand slides across the bed clearly looking for him. Her hand finally finds him and she snuggles into his side using his arm as a pillow.

She can feel him kiss her temple softly. "Rise and shine, sleepy head."

She sleepily shakes her head but opens her eyes to see Damon is lying on the bed beside her with his hands behind his head.

"I know you were dreaming about me, but we have things to do." He explains with a smirk and with a frown she glances at the alarm clock.

"Six a.m. Seriously? Do you know how late you kept me up last night?" She suddenly find herself on her back with Damon looming over her.

"I do know. I remember every little moan and scream and every time you called my name. Which was a lot." He smiles and kisses her, sucking softly on her lower lip.

"Then how do you have nothing better to do at six a.m.?" Ember wonders.

Damon rolls off her in one smooth motion. "Fine, don't come with me to bring Stefan home. I'll call you when I have him."
