A/N Holy Hell!! We have made it to the end of season 3! 60 chapters!! If you have made it this far with me. 1. What is wrong with you? 2. Thank you so much and I hope you have enjoyed it.

I have just done a hard edit on the previous chapters before getting into season 4, I'm sure I still missed some things and have figured out that writing is pretty much a process of constant edits and reworking story lines as you figure out what does and doesn't work.

The next TWO chapters are ready to go! Exciting things ahead for our twins, the vampires they love and mystic falls!!

Ember hears Elena's alarm go off. She is already dressed and sitting in her window seat reading the final twilight book.

Elena turns up the music and Ember looks up to see her twin dance past the door that connects their rooms on her way to get ready for school and laughs at how happy her sister is.

Elena walks downstairs after changing and into the kitchen where Aunt Jenna is making coffee while Ember makes waffles and bacon.

"Jeremy locked himself in the bathroom again. Does he think we don't know what he's doing in there?" Elena complains.

"He's fourteen. They don't think." Jenna responds and Ember snickers. 

Elena grabs for the coffee pot, but Jenna takes it back. "Hey! You'll get me in trouble with..."

Miranda Gilbert walks into the kitchen.

"Good morning my sweet girls." She almost sings and kisses Elena on the cheek.

"Morning, mom." They reply together as Miranda kisses Ember on the cheek.

"Everything smells delicious Em." Miranda compliments and Ember blushes happily.

Ember and Elena jerk awake up in a hospital room. Elena is hooked up to monitors and looks at Ember who had fallen asleep in the chair beside her confused. Tears gather in Ember eyes.

Meredith and Jeremy are outside the room talking. "She's gonna be fine. She got a little banged up today, hit her head, but it was just a slight concussion, nothing to worry about."

"But she collapsed, there was so much blood! And Ember... she couldn't..."

Meredith interrupts him. "Honestly, Jeremy, they are both okay. They just... they have been through a lot in the past few days. Is there anyone you need to call?"

"You did what?" Damon and Stefan are driving towards the Atlantic to dump Klaus' body.

"I took her to the hospital. When you find your sister unconscious, you call 911. Ember was almost hysterical, Dr. Fell had to give her a sedative to calm her down when we got here."

"You have a parade of vampires at your disposal! You call one of them." Damon replies.

"Every remaining Original is gonna want Elena dead to stop Alaric. And Ember is clearly in no shape to protect either of them right now. They are sitting ducks in there." Stefan points out.

"Well, Meredith wants to keep them both here for observation." Jeremy insists.

"Jeremy, get them home, we're on our way.!" Damon hangs up on him and looks at Stefan. "Have I told you lately how much I appreciate you not being the dumbest brother on Earth?"

Stefan takes a deep breath. "You know one of us needs to keep moving, right? If Klaus really is the sire of our bloodline, we need to keep his body hidden before Alaric finds him, kills him, and we all end up dead."
