((I added the song that sorta inspired me to write this chapter. A few of the lyrics, but more the feeling and emotion in the song. It's called Love is a Laserquest by Arctic Monkeys. ))

"I don't love you; I can never love you."

My breathing hitched, as snow started piling, slowly at first but then escalating in speed. Gerard stood on a tree stump in front of me.

"W-What do you mean Gee? You said you'd protect me, y-you-"

"I can never love you."

"But you said you did. I've already poured out my heart for you!" I yelled.

"I CAN NEVER LOVE YOU!" He screamed, and kept repeating the line. I couldn't speak, my mouth was locked and my throat was dry.

The snow had reached up to my chest already, and it's weight started making my knees collapse in. I stumbled into the flood of white crystals, and I couldn't stand back up. As I sunk in, Gerard's tree stump grew higher; his feet weren't even in the snow.

He was still screaming that line. I tried to block it out, but I couldn't. I stared into his light hazel eyes, looking for salvation. As I sunk, his eyes never left my sight.

I woke up to the same pair of eyes.

"Frankie, lovely, hey! Wake up!" Gerard called out to me, shaking my sleepy form. I picked myself up and looked at him confused.

"Why are you in my room?" I questioned, still startled from the dream.

"I wanted to drive you to school, so I came by. Your mom let me in before she headed to work" Gerard explained.

"Ah, that's reasonable" was all I could think to respond with.

"Why were you shaking in your sleep?" Gerard asked me.

"Uh, well, it was just a bad dream" I answered nervously.

"Do you want to talk about it?".

I quickly shook my head, standing up from my bed and stretching. "All it was was a dream, nothing more or less" I told him, trying to convince myself more than him. He nodded in understanding, then sat back on my bed.

"Well go get dressed Sleeping Beauty, we gotta get to school and learn shit" Gerard said, smirking and picking up my CD stack I had on my bedside table.

I flipped him off, then ran to the bathroom to take a quick shower. The water stung my fading bruises, but it woke me up enough to think sorta clearly.

I scrubbed shampoo into my hair, slicking my jaggedly long bangs back. I'm not one to sit in the shower and contemplate life. I think it's just because I already sit everywhere else and contemplate it, so the shower doesn't need to be another place for it.

As I turned off the water, I heard music blaring in my room. I dried myself off quickly and put my boxers on, walking into my room to see what was going on.

I guess while I was showering, Gerard found my CD player, because I could hear The Beatles "Oh! Darling" playing.

"Woah woah, is this a peep show now?" Gerard questioned, staring at me. I blushed, covering my bare chest with my towel.

"I heard music blasting, I sorta forgot I was half naked. Stop screwing me with your eyes" I told him, looking away.

"Well music does that to people, and how could I look away when I'm peering into the essence of beauty?" Gerard said, putting his hands up dramatically and winking.
