Life had been crazy, to say the least. The past couple of months Tim and Lucy were either sleeping or working and it had never seemed to stop. Lucy was busy as a UC, Tim with his metro job, hell they barely had time for each other, or Tamara. But since a few days, things started settling. Lucy's big UC operation was done and Tim was really finding his way with everything metro related. They had decided the wanted to have a nice, quiet dinner tonight, just the two of them.
'It finally feels like I can just relax for a moment' Lucy said as she cut the vegetables. Tim sat across from her with beer in his hand. 'Yeah it's great' he sighed and put his hand on Lucy's. 'I've missed you the past couple of weeks' he said and looked at his beautiful girlfriend. Tim and Lucy had been together for over 2 years know, but they had never gone through what they experienced the past couple of months. It had been hard, sometimes only seeing each other when they got into bed. 'I've missed you too babe' Lucy said with a smile before she continued cooking. 'It's good that we can focus a bit more on us again' Tim said and got up. He walked over to Lucy and put his hands on her shoulders, and softly massaged them. 'That feels incredible' Lucy said and moaned softly, and put down the knife before she closed her eyes. 'You're enjoying this huh' Tim said. 'Absolutely' Lucy whispered. Tim placed soft kisses on the side of her face and then continued to her neck. 'Should we finish this in the bedroom?' Tim whispered into her ear. Just a nod from Lucy was enough to get him to pick her up and make their way over to their bed.
'Maybe we should just order take out and make the curry tomorrow' Tim said as he got out of the shower and put on his clothes. He walked into the bedroom to find Lucy on the bed, staring. 'You okay Luce?' he said and repeated the take out question. 'Yeah sorry, I was just thinking. Take outs fine' she said and gave Tim a small smile. 'Okay, what were you thinking about?' Tim asked. 'We'll talk about it later. I will clean up the kitchen, can you order the food?' she said and quickly gave him a kiss. 'Sure, but Luc-' Tim started, not letting go of his curiosity. 'Tim, later' Lucy said and walked out of the bedroom.
Lucy and Tim ended up ordering Chinese, and ate it in front of the TV on the couch. Tim was still curious what had brought his girlfriend into such deep thought and needed to know. Tims curiosity wasn't something Lucy always appreciated, and he didn't want to push it but still wanted to know. 'Do you wanna tell me what you were thinking about?' Tim asked the girl who was resting her head on his shoulder. 'Tim' Lucy sighed and got up to put away their plates. 'You always tell me Luce' Tim said. 'Yeah, well maybe it's for a reason now that I don't, can't you just let it go?' Lucy said, a little agitated. 'After what you just said, no' Tim crossed his arms and stood in front of the kitchen island. 'You're not intimidating to me' Lucy said and kept cleaning up. 'I'm not trying to be' Tim argued. 'What are you trying to do than?' Lucy snapped at him. 'Trying to talk to you? This is the first time in weeks we're spending time together and you want to pick a fight?' Tim said, getting more upset. 'That's no-. You know what, I'm going for walk' Lucy grabbed her keys and left before Tim could say anything.
'Hey' Lucy said as she came in 2 hours later. 'How was your walk?' Tim asked. 'Good, I'm gonna take a shower now, I'll see you in bed' Lucy said and made her way to the bathroom. Tim got up from the couch and cleaned the living room a little, then he continued to the bathroom. He brushed his teeth while Lucy was showering, and when he was done, so was she. 'I'll be done soon' she said and stroked his arm once. Tim nodded and got changed. He got into bed and scrolled on his phone until Lucy joined him. She scooted closer to him and grabbed one of his hands. 'I'm sorry for tonight' Lucy said and squeezed his hand. 'Me too, I shouldn't have pushed you' Tim replied whilst he put a strand of hair behind her ear. 'But we do need to talk' Lucy said and a worried expression washed over Tim's face. 'Don't worry' Lucy said and paused before she began, she searched for a little more courage. 'Tim, before work happened we were trying, trying to have a baby' Lucy said and looked at Tim for a second. 'I need to know if we still want to do that' Lucy said quietly and looked at her boyfriend again. They sat in silence for a second before Tim answered. 'What do you want Luce?' he asked her. 'Tim, I just asked you that' Lucy chuckled before she continued. 'And I need to know, cause since things have been going back to how they were, this has been on my mind the entire time and I can't seem to let it go' she sighed. 'I, uhm' Tim said but stopped for a second and thought about what he was gonna say. 'Honestly Lucy, I completely forgot about this' he said, making them both laugh a little. 'But now that you've reminded me about this, I can't say anything but that I don't see why we shouldn't try again' Tim said and Lucy let out a small sigh of relief. 'As long as we're in this together, I'm 100% sure this is gonna be okay' Tim said and pulled Lucy closer to him. 'I was really hoping you'd say that' Lucy said before she kissed him. 'How can I say no to a little version of you, there's nothing I long more for' Tim said with a smile. 'I love you' Lucy said, which Tim returned to her.
