Time skip to the wedding, June is just over a year old now
'Ready for tomorrow?' Tim asked as he was closing his overnight bag. He would be staying at Johns tonight, with the rest of the grooms party, including Angela, who was his 'Best Woman', and had been helping the two tremendously the last couple of months with planning everything, as did Tamara, who was Lucy's maid of honour. 'Yes, 100%' Lucy said and smiled at Tim. 'I can't believe that we're getting married tomorrow' Lucy said as Tim walked over to her and the couple embraced in a hug. 'Me neither' he said before they kissed. The couple walked over to the living room, where their daughter was playing with Tamara. 'June, do you wanna go with daddy' Tim asked his daughter, who had just learned to walk and waddled over to her mom and dad. Lucy picked her up and showered her with kisses, and gave her daughter a hug. 'Mommy's gonna miss you' Lucy said before her daughter wrapped her arms around her neck, making everybody smile at the sight of the little girl hugging her mother. 'Okay Junie, lets go' Tim said and Lucy handed her over to him. Tim had said he would take care of June the night before and the day of their wedding, so Lucy could completely focus on crossing the last T's and not have to chase around the little girl while trying to get in her dress. 'I'll see you tomorrow. I love you' he said before he gave Lucy his last kiss as her fiancé. 'I love you' she answered, and waved two of her favourite people goodbye. It was a pretty early morning for Lucy. Since the ceremony would start at 11, her alarm went of at 5:30. Nyla, Celina and Luna arrived around the same time, and even Tamara had managed to get up that early in the morning. As Lucy was sitting in the chair, getting her make up done, she got overwhelmed by a lot of emotions, and Nyla noticed. 'You okay Lucy?' she asked, in a soft tone. 'Yeah, just feeling a lot right now. Can't believe we're doing this' Lucy said and smiled. She couldn't stop thinking of Tim, what he would look like. She hated that she couldn't see him walk down the aisle with June on his arm, who he would hand over to Luna once he got to the altar. Only thinking of the sight was enough to make Lucy cry happy tears, but she didn't want to ruin her make up yet, so she held herself back. 'Wade just texted me, the rest just woke up too, seems like we're all gonna be on time' Luna said, taking away some of Lucy's worry. They would leave at 9:30, hoping to arrive at the 4 seasons hotel by 10.15. They had decided to get married in the courtyard, surrounded by trees and flowers, that went well with their green and white theme. While Tim would be joined by his daughter down the aisle, Wade Grey would be the one giving Lucy away to Tim.
The bridal party had just arrived at the hotel, and Lucy was in her suite checking if everything dress related looked okay in the mirror, when she heard a familiar voice behind her. 'How are you holding up' Angela said behind her, who was wearing a beautiful champagne coloured dress, and she didn't come alone, June was on her arm. She was wearing a beautiful dark green dress and looked as cute as ever. The little girl reached out her arms to her mom, who gladly took her and held her daughter close before she answered Angela. 'Really good. It all looks amazing, and I have you to thank for that' Lucy said before she embraced her friend. 'You guys did some good work too, Lucy. You look amazing by the way' Angela told her friend, while looking at her. She was wearing her beautiful dress, and her hair was down, curled perfectly. Her make up was done to perfection and her jewellery matched everything perfectly. 'Well, lets hope Tim thinks the same. Speaking about him, how's he doing?' she asked, and set her daughter down so she could walk around a little. 'He's really nervous, but he can't wait to marry you, trust me' Angela chuckled. 'Well, let me take June, so you can do the last things before walking down that aisle' she said before she gave Lucy one last hug and took June with her.
'Oh Lucy, you look beautiful' Wade said as he entered the room and came to get Lucy. 'You think so?' Lucy said before they embraced in a hug. 'Absolutely. Are you ready?' he asked the woman, who he came to love dearly. 'As ready as I can be' Lucy answered, with some nervousness in her voice. They walked out of the room, and took the elevator down stairs, Lucy becoming more nervous by the second. They walked over to where the ceremony was taking place, and stopped before anyone could see them. Though the bushes, Lucy could see Tim standing at the altar, in a beautiful dark green suit, and he looked amazing, but also as anxious as he could be. 'You ready?' Wade asked her. 'Yes' Lucy said and took the hand he was holding out to her. The song 'Stand by me' by Denmark+Winter started playing, which was their queue to start walking down the aisle. As soon as Tim and Lucy locked eyes, it felt like the world stopped for a moment. Even from a distance, Lucy could see that Tim's eyes started to water, and not much later he wiped away a tear. All she wanted to do in that moment was quickly make her way over to him, but she knew she couldn't. Tim and Lucy kept their eyes locked, and in that moment it felt like it was just the two of them. After what felt like forever, they reached the alter. Wade gave her a kiss on the cheek and handed her to Tim. 'Take good care of her' he said and Tim nodded. 'You look out of this world' Tim whispered before Lucy wiped away a tear on his face. 'So do you' Lucy returned, a smile on her face.
