Part 8

I wake up to the familiar sight of blonde hair fanned over me and slight soft snores coming from Alessia. I gently roll her off me, she mumbles something in her sleep which causes me to laugh a bit then use the bathroom. I crawl back into bed and go on my phone to give myself time to wake up before making breakfast. I'm scrolling through TikTok and I see that there are rumours that me and Alessia are dating, then apparently Alessia is dating Victoria and I'm rumoured to be dating Katie even though his been in a very serious, long relationship with Aston Villa player Ruesha Littlejohn.  As I'm scrolling I get a text from Viv. 

Vivvie 🧡: morning team bounding is at Leah's house be there by 6 plz bring lessie too xx

Me: okay will do xx

As I send the text Alessia wakes up with a groan and rubbing her eyes " what time is it" she says and Alessia's husky just woke up voice is something. " 10:20" I tell her  " you should of woke me" she says sitting up " esta bien, necesitabas descansar" I tell her " please stick to English when I just woke up" she chuckles " I just said you needed to rest" I tell her and she nods and Lay back down on my chest. " what should we do today" she asked " well Viv just text me, we have team bounding at Leah's so we have to be there for 6pm, so before that what ever you want" I tell her " can we stay like this" she says softly and my heart skips at beat. Then it was like something switched in her " I mean, just stay in bed, be lazy" she fumbles out and sits up "si, lo desea" I smile at her. We do just that we spend all day in bed, ordering food, sneaking in a cheeky nap, and now I'm waiting for Alessia to get showered and ready. Once she is ready and good to go she drives us to mine so I can get showered and changed. I went for black ripped jeans, a plain back adidas top and I stole a black adidas jumper off Alessia and black and white converses. 

" we're going to be late now" Alessia huffs and I chuckle " guarantee Katie and Ruesha aren't even there yet" I chuckle " we was meant to be there an hour ago, you think Katie and Ruesha will not be there" she turns to look at me for a second then back on the road " I bet you dinner we have beaten Katie" I chuckle " alright, bet" she chuckles. The drive consist of just talking and listening to music and then we finally reach Leah's house and we knock and didn't have to wait long before our captain is standing there greeting us, ushering us in. 

We and Alessia sit down on the sofa, I get in conversation with Lotte. " anyone know where Katie is" Kim yells out " Katie not here yet?" I ask " no, she said she was on her way an hour a go" Kim explains " ha, I told you, you owe me dinner" I laugh and put my hand under her chin and gently squeeze her cheeks and then get up to go to the kitchen to get a drink. I don't even have to look up but I know all eyes are on Alessia and I know she's blushing up smiling. 

I'm pouring Alessia some Diet coke when Leah walks in " hey, your house is beautiful" I tell her " thanks, so you and Lessie, huh" she winks at me " oh no, there's nothing going on" I defend myself. " really, you guys don't have to hide from us" she chuckles " oh no. It's just that I understand what it is like moving to somewhere completely new so I help her out and we just become close" I explain and Leah nods " so you don't like her" she asked with an eyebrow raised and I just stare at her " I knew it, we all know it. I think you two are the only people that don't see it" she chuckles and leaves. I just watch her disappear and then I look over at Alessia who is in conversion and is laughing at something. 

A few hours have gone by and we are all sitting down talking and drinking, well apart from the people who are driving. " lets play truth or drink" Katie yells " how old are you" Ruesha laughs and Katie flips her off. 

"alright Issy, your turn" Katie says "ermm, do you fancy anyone in the team" Katie asked and I feel everyone's eyes on me, especially Alessia's " yeah" I say honestly " Katie McCabe" I joke and wink at Katie and Katie chuckles then blows me a kiss " can you stop hitting on my girlfriend" Ruesha laughs " never" and I wink at Katie again. 

A few more hours go past and people are starting to leave, me and Alessia call it a night and Alessia drives us home. 

Once we are home we get changed into something more comfortable and then we climb into bed.

I wake up and it has to be the middle of the night as everything is black but the bed is empty. I get up in search of Alessia. I walk towards the living toom and I hear her talking 

" I don't know, Ella. I really like her and I believe she likes me but won't admit it and it hurts. It's like she lets me in and then pushes me back." she says and it sounds like she's crying a little. 

" if she just wanted to be friends Ella then why would she let me sleep on her chest, why would she hold me the way she does, why would she spend all this time with me. She acts like she likes me but then makes throw away comments like I don't date team mates. I just don't get it" she sighs 

" yeah, I need to speak to her.... okay... goodnight Ella, love you too." she says and with that I walk back into bed and pretend to be asleep and I hear Alessia walk in and climb into bed. She doesn't cuddle up to me like she normally does, she turns her back to me. 

The next morning came and to be honest I didn't wait around long, I had breakfast with Alessia and chill for like an hour then headed home. Viv and Beth questioned why I was home so early but I just shrugged it off. I just laid on my bed, what am I going to do about Alessia, is she going to talk to me? When is she going to talk to me?. Do I let her in or do I push her away. I promised myself that I would never date a team mate again but Alessia, Alessia seems different, but they all do at first.
