Today is the day, I get to see Alessia in the first time in what seems forever. I get out of bed and pick something to wear. I got with a white crop top and an army green button shirt that's left open and the shorts to match it and my trusty white air forces. I don't apply any make up and I put my hair in a half up half down style and leave it wavy and put my ray bans on the top of my head for the meantime. I go down and have a cup of coffee with Olga and have a catch up with Montserrat before heading to the kitchen and grabbing the picnic basket the chefs kindly prepared for me. I have arranged a nice romantic picnic on the beach and then later a meal in a cute restaurant on the pier so we can eat, enjoy a bottle of wine and watch the sunset.
I get an uber to the beach, I make my way to the restaurant as they let me hire a area on their part of the beach so we don't get invaded by fans, not that me and Alessia mind stopping for fans and taking photos with them it's just that we haven't seen each other for a week and a half so It'll be nice to spend some quality time just us. I spend some time with the manager setting up the picnic and then I get a message from Alessia telling me she is close. I walk outside to the front and I didn't have to wait long before I see a smiling blonde walking up to me. " hiya" she charms " hey baby, I missed you" I say wrapping my arms around her " I've missed you too" she says and surprises me when she cups my face and kisses me, the reason why it throws me off is because Lessie isn't the one for public affection like that. Alessia the smiles at me and her blue eyes sparkle and then she bites her lip which drives me crazy. " shall we go in" I ask " sure" she nods " okay, I need to cover your eyes" I tell her and she looks at me for a second " you'll be fine it's not like I'm leading you to a shark pit" I chuckle and put my hands gently over her eyes, careful not to ruin her lashes otherwise she will kill me. " or am I?" I whisper in her ear " shut up" she laughs and I lead her through to the back and onto the beach where everything is. " okay, you ready?" I ask her " duh" she laughs and I can feel her roll her eyes. I remove my hands and her jaw drops

" Issy, this is so beautiful" she says " like you" I smile at her and she playfully slap my arm which makes me laughs " after you" I say nodding towards the sitting area, Lessie takes a photo then sits down and then I follow her and sit next to her " how did you pull this off she asked " I have my ways" I wink at her and she giggles " I am blown away, thank you" she smiles " anything for my princesa" I smile. Me and Alessia spend a few hours picking at the food and drinking a bottle of champagne. We are talking and then Alessia face lights up " oh my god babe, look" she beams I turn and see a adult and a baby kangaroo bouncing along the sea front. Me and Alessia get our phones out and take photos and videos of the kangaroos and then they come up to us looking for food. The mother comes up and sniffs around and the Alessia gets some cut up carrots out and stretches her arm out to give it to the kangaroo, the kangaroo was hesitant at first but then smells the carrot and slowly takes it. The smile on Alessia's face melts me, I start to film the interaction. The baby Kangaroo comes up to me, so I get some carrot and let it take it out of my hand. Once the Carrots are finished the kangaroos bounce away. Alessia turns to me with the biggest smile on her face " I can't believe that happened" she chuckles " the magic of Australia" I smile at her.
A bit later on, I'm laying on my back and Alessia is laying with her head on my stomach as we watch the sun set. I take a sneaky photo and out it on my Instagram story and tag Alessia in it. " I have a question for you" she says " okay" I chuckle " what does your future hold professionally and personally " she asked " erm, professionally winning the champions league, winning something with Spain, becoming a captain. Personally, becoming a wife and a mother and just being happy" I tell her " what about you?" I ask " professionally, I just want to score as many goals as possible and win as many trophies as possible and personally, as long I have you I will be happy" she smiles up at me " you're cute" I chuckle " where would you want to raise your family" she asked " well. I always saw myself and my kids back home in Barcelona but things have changed, I have my Arsenal family, I have you so now I don't really know" I tell her " I mean we still have a life to think about this stuff" she says sweetly at me. " we do" I smile at her. " when your next match?" she asked " tomorrow" I say " shouldn't you get back then, it's getting late?" she ask " lets eat, then I'll walk you back your hotel and then I'll get an uber from there" I explain. We go into the restaurant and we get seated and given menus, we choose what we want to get and drink and wait for it to be brought to us. We eat our food and I pay and we leave.
We walk down the street hand in hand enjoying the gentle breeze, about ten minutes later we finally reach Alessia's hotel and a wave of sadness hits me as I pull out my phone to book an uber. " next time, I'll plan something for us to do" she smiles at me " sure" I smile back. " I don't want you to leave" she says sadly hugging me " if I didn't have a match tomorrow I would" I tell her and she looks sad, I use my index finger and thumb to lift her chin up to look at me " I love you" I tell her " te amo" she tells me. I plant a soft kiss on her lips. " oh cut it out love birds" we hear, we both turn and see Lotte and Ella walking out of the building " hey" I smile " how was your date" Ella asked " yeah good, I'll show you the pictures later" Alessia tells her. I say hello to Lotte " right my uber is here" I tell them " alright, come El, let the love birds say goodbye" Lotte laughs and I flip her off " bye Ella, good to finally meet you off the pitch" I tell her " you too" she smiles and hugs me and the walks off with Lotte. I turn to Alessia " I will see you soon" I tell her and kiss her " promise?" she asked " promesa" I tell her and she smiles. Alessia hugs me and kisses me and I get in the uber and head back to my hotel
