Chapter 11: Recovery

The Gray Ravens stayed by their Commandant's bedside, delaying their mission. The Gray Ravens were worried about the Commandant not recovery since he was heavily damaged. Liv was checking his vitals to see if he was stable. The door opened and they saw Hassen walk in.

"How's he holding up?"

"He's stable."

"Well, I have good news and bad news." Hassen said with a sigh

"What's the good news?"

"We found a way for him to recover, but there's a problem."

"What's the problem?" Luica asked worriedly

Hassen sighed.

"The way he has to recover...is if we put him in the red tide."

They Gray Raven's looked at each other.

"We can't do that!" Luica yelled

"It's the only way, if you want the Commandant to be better." Alpha said walking into the room.

"What if it changes him?" Lee questioned

"It's possible, but we will fix it." Luna said

"Look I don't agree with it either, but it's the only option we have."

The Gray Raven looked at one another and nodded in agreement.

"We agree to it."

Alpha was carrying Beta to the red tide. Luna was following. She wanted to bring something up to Alpha, didn't know how.

"Alpha there something you need to know."

"What's that, Luna?"

"You know when we do this.... Beta won't be Beta."

Alpha chuckled slightly.

"I know."

"You know you going have to fight him to calm him down."

"I know."

Luna didn't know what to say.

"Beta is Beta....He's just going through a change. He still going be the Commandant of the Gray Ravens."

"You know he's fully going gain back his real memories."

"He has his real memories." Alpha said calmly

Luna didn't respond.

"So, are you ready to see the real Beta?"

Reaching the red tide, Alpha didn't respond to Luna. Slowing walking towards the edge of the red tide, Alpha crouched down to place the Commandant into the sea. She didn't want to, but she did know that it would bring him back better than ever. Luna placed a hand on her shoulder and nodded. Alpha pulled out the commandant signature commandant pistol that was giving to him when he started, before his ascension. Placing the pistol on his chest and pushing away. She didn't know how to feel seeing him drifting away in the red tide. They watched his body being consumed by the tide.

"So, you finally letting him become the real Beta?"

Both Alpha and Luna turned around, when they heard a familiar voice.

"I see you still being a lapdog."

"Funny, because I was helping Beta for once."

"What do you want Roland?" Alpha said coldly.

"I found the Pterygota Queen and her master Gabriel."

Alpha and Luna looked at each other shocked.

"We have to stop them."

"Beta wants to do it."

"Well Beta needs to recover first. Who knows when that will be down.

Roland was about to speak when they all heard the ground begin to rumble. They looked toward the red tide and saw a whirlpool forming. Watching him slowly a merging from the whirlpool, Alpha readied her weapon. Roland did the same.

"We here to help to."

They turned around and the gray raven, along with his friends.

"22  vs one.... cute."

The new Beta stepped on the ground.

"Everyone get ready! This is the real Beta!" Alpha yelled.

He chuckled.

"Let me show you my real power."
