  Just like Mihawk said, he left not long after Naomi's birthday.

  It was a strange goodbye. He tried to sneak away but the girl just happened to be standing there. She smothered him in affection and he acted like he was burning at the stake. He did promise to visit whenever he could.

  It didn't take the Red Haired Pirates long to get to their final destination. Foosha Village, the home to the one and only.

  "SHANKS! You're back for me!" A 7 year old boy with black hair, giant black round eyes, and tanned skin yelled. He pushed past the crowd that came to welcome the reoccurring pirates. The only group of criminals they really seemed to respect.

  The little boy clang to his role models leg. Ranting on about how he was ready to take to the sea. He was going to be one of the guys.

  "Hey Luffy. It's good to see you but I'm still not taking you with me, kid."  Shanks patted the boys head while fixing his hat.

  "Why not?! I'm super strong now!" The kid known as Luffy pouted. He flexed his arm. And if you looked really really really really hard, you could see a tiny itty bitty molecule of a muscle forming.

  "Yeaaaaaaaaa no. You're too young Lu." The man smiled lightly. Luffy pouted getting ready to argue even more.

  "Daddy I'm readyyyy!" Naomi yelled from the top of the stairs. It was taking her forever to find out which outfit she wanted to go with her hair. So Shanks left her to go help the crew settle first.

  Both males looked up. The older one smiling brightly. The younger one.........well it was hard to pinpoint what he was thinking. At first he was starstruck. This girl was the prettiest girl he's ever seen. Her skin reminded him of chocolate. Her hair was long and in an unusual style. He's never seen someone like her.

  On the other hand. She had called the infamous Shanks, Dad. As far as the boy knew, he didn't have any kids. Nor did they look alike. So where did this little girl come from?

  "Princess you look so pretty today." Shanks lifted the girl up and kissed all over her face. Her giggles made the surrounding people smile. She was absolutely precious.

  She had on a floral top with wheat colored, high waisted shorts. Brown high strapped sandals to match. Her signature bag on her shoulder. Her gifted necklace was always on her neck. And the sword earring was always on her ear.

  She even got to wear some lipgloss today. It was a clear color but it was a start. Her hair was in long braids with beads at the end. Esme of course was on her shoulders. Pulling her hair like the reins of a horse.
