The StrawHats were finally leaving the beautiful island of mermaids. It was time to continue their journey as much as everyone wanted to stay.
They befriended so many fishmen that shared their same interest. Learning things they never thought they could. This place was utterly perfect.
On the other hand, Luffy was pouting.
Jinbe had told him he wouldn't be joining them immediately as he had business to handle first. He didn't want to bring his unnecessary baggage to the crew like this. The rubber man was not happy but had no choice but to accept it.

When it came to Jinbe and Esme separating, the male seemed to take it a lot harder. Acting as if he was going to die without the icon. They were soulmates attached by a red string of fate, yes. But he would be okay.
She couldn't help but laugh at his ridiculous behavior. Encouraging him to finish quickly so they could be together again. Jinbe was going to make sure he did just that.
"But I didn't get to spend enough time with you." The larger princess sniffled to the girl that treated her like a little sister. It was as if there was no difference in their status as she acted like they knew each other for years.
Shirahohu was trying to hold back the waterworks as much as she could. Luffy told her that her idol was never a cry baby so she didn't want to be one either.
In Luffy's defense he was just happily talking about his lady. If she actually knew he told a young girl she wasn't allowed to express her emotions in her own way she'd probably chock him.
"I'm sorry lovely. We really didn't get much time. But it's okay, it gives us more to talk about." The dark skin girl tried to comfort the girl. Shirahoshi just sniffled and nodded, making the older girl smile.
It took a little more convincing to get Camie off of her but she did. Which allowed her to do what she really wanted to do.
She hopped out of Shirahoshi's hand and hit the ground gracefully. Pulling some water towards her she cocooned herself within it. The cocoon started to grow rapidly. Everyone watched with both awe and surprise at the sudden change.
Like a butterfly, she emerged from the cocoon. Her form much larger than the young princess before her.
She did all this just to actually hug the girl who can't even hug her father properly.
"God I'm amazing. I surprise myself every day." The Siren giggled as she held her cheek. Everyone looked like ants compared to her. If she let her intrusive thoughts win she could easily step on everyone.
