“No, I don’t deserve someone better. I want you. So what if we both make mistakes? That shouldn’t matter as long as we can learn to forgive each other and be better for one another. So let’s get back together and actually work on our communication issues and trust issues this time, alright?”
"Why do you want me look at me I'm a mess..."
“Well of course you’re a mess now, you’ve been upset for over a week! And I’ve already told you, I don’t care how bad of a mess you are! I love you for who you are, not for how you look! So what if you look bad?! As long as you love me, I’ll love you, and in the end, that’s all that matters!”
Katie continues crying.
“Hey, c’mon. Don’t cry so much… I’m only saying all these nice things cause they’re true. I really do love you, and I’m willing to give this relationship a 2nd chance. I’ve just gotta know that this time, you’ll communicate your feelings with me when you’re struggling, and that you’ll trust me with that kind of stuff. Can you promise me?”
“Is the reason you can’t communicate with me because you were texting Alice behind my back?”
Katie nods.
"Kinda yea... Alice she is..."
Katie is scared to say something.
Ellie sighs.
“What is it about Alice? Why did you text her behind my back?”
Katie is sobbing, scared but doesn't want to loose her so desides to tell.
“Go on. You can tell me. We should get past this now so we can move on to actually fixing our relationship. So just try to get the thoughts in your head sorted out and tell me why you were texting Alice.”
Ellie says still holding her.
"She is from school... and I wasn't texting her for a school project.."
She looks scared and is still crying.
“What were you texting her for? And don’t worry, I won’t be mad. Just tell me the truth.”
"You remember how you said you thought she hated me?"
Holding on to her scared while saying this.
Ellie sighs.
“Yeah… I remember when I said that. You told me there was no way Alice would ever actually like you. So why are you texting her now?”
"Well she does hate me... I knew that..."
Katie starts.
Ellie starts to get a little concerned now. “So why were you texting her if she hates you?”
