everyone knows maddie and mackenzie ziegler. abby lee's favorite dancers. but let's throw one more into the mix, malia ziegler. the oldest half sister of maddie and mackenzie.

malia didn't have school today, and neither did kelli or olivia, so the three girls were sprawled out in olivia's room, half on the bed, half on the floor, surrounded by dance bags and snacks.
since kelli hadn't gotten to compete with them last weekend, malia and olivia were filling her in on everything that went down.
"i can't believe kelly changed paige's dance," kelli said, eyes wide.
malia shook her head. "tell me about it."
"those arguments get bad too, kel. they cut out a lot on the show. ms. abby goes crazy on the moms," olivia added, just as a knock sounded on her door.
"come in!" olivia called.
the door cracked open and her brother austin peeked in, his eyes immediately landing on malia.
"hey guys. hey, malia," he said with a small smile.
"hi, austin," malia replied, sitting up a little straighter without even realizing it.
"kelli is here too," olivia pointed out dryly, glancing between them.
austin let out a quiet sigh. "hey, kelli."
"sup, austin. you know this is starting to be a recurring thing," kelli joked, flopping back onto olivia's bed.
"anyways," austin said, shifting his weight, "mom bought some food. it's on the stove. and, malia, my mom said your mom's on the way."
"thanks," malia nodded.
the three girls grabbed their things and trailed after him, heading downstairs together.

"come on girls, get in here!" abby called from inside the studio.
malia was the first through the door, jogging into place as the rest of the girls followed behind her and lined up.
once everyone was settled, abby folded her arms. "now, i wouldn't say it was a brilliant weekend, but i would say it was successful. we set out to beat cathy, the wicked witch of the west, and that's exactly what we did. we beat her hands down in every single category. you knocked the apple tree down. so i want to get through pyramid quickly, because we have a lot of work to do."
she then started pyramid with paige, kenzie, and brooke were at the bottom. above them sat maddie, and then malia.
"malia," abby said, tapping her photo, "you had a light week last week. all you had to focus on was the group dance. but you were in class every single day, improving. i have your teachers coming to me telling me how much you're improving. keep it up."
