Sky surrounded with carbon from the factories, workers exiting from their work with empty bottles alongside them.  The red of the flame of the burning garbage can, as people find a bit of heat in the cold street of Small Heath. Path broke apart with the step of a man, recognizable without announcing any sound, the aura of his shadow, everybody is aware to walk away from his direction. Thomas Shelby lifted his hat out as he entered the Garrison pub, as the bartender shouted, "Everybody out!"
Without hitting the minute strike the pub was already empty.
"Family meeting, out y'too," Tommy said, he grabbed a bottle of whiskey and a couple of glasses that were lying alongside the table.
Arthur and John appeared, grabbing a couple of seats and Tommy drew a smirk, pouring his drink and tossing some papers around.
"A'right we got a new business, eh"
"What business are we talking about? ay, Tommy" Arthur spoke.
Gray of the smoke blocked through their view, as Thomas stared at the negative space of the room. He didn't need their approval on his decisions, especially something that will be in benefit of their future business.
"I decided to take new directions for the future of our company, decisions that will change parts of our lives."
"Oh, brotha, what changes are we talkin' about, eh?"Arthur asked.
Without needing his brothers' commentary about his upcoming plans, he proceeded, "Tequila." Tommy opened the contracts, freshly inked. "Our new teammate is Carlos Madrigal, he is ah huge tequila importer in Mexico, and we will help each other. I'll help 'im sellin' in places in Europe and Asia, and he'll help us get our exclusive market in Mexico and other Southern Americans countries."
"Sounds like you already made up your mind." John commented.
"It will be for our future of the company, any further details will be revealed at the indicated moment."

Few hours that Nora could feel the ground after she sailed out to Europe, hoping that the weeks would go faster, as she couldn't detained herself to compare it to the warm side of her country, it wasn't perfect, she's well aware of that but the freedom she felt running through the streets of Mexico City, and seeing familiar faces is something she will dearly missed. She wanted to be with her father, he insisted for her to join his businesses, especially if it would take a bit of time to conclude. Deep down Nora knew this could be for the better, but there is a scent of unknown distrust that she cannot keep her mind out.
A smile swift from Nora's cloudy head, as she meets a pair of deep brown eyes with one of her newest acquaintances she made during her time in the boat. Darryl Jackson, he returned from a long trip to the United States.
"Home sweet, home,"he said.
Before she commented back, the smoking powder traveled into her sight, transpired to the ground of her new home, dirt of the engine and burning trash everywhere. "It will take time getting used to the carbon of these streets, and if you prefer I can help you and your father get familiarized with parts of Birmingham."
Nora turned back to her father, "You think it is a good idea? He knows the city."
"Maybe he can help carry out the luggage" her father threw a couple of luggage at Darryl, making sure he didn't drop any.
Both accepted Darryl's request, even though he was an acquaintance on the trip, she felt that it would be useless to be two strangers in a city like Birmingham. She danced her fresh lighted cigarette through between her lips, warming between the cool air, they followed to Darryl's step. Nora assumes the best company they'll have without getting herself in trouble, she's aware of the presence she has as she stepped into an European country, the way people perceive her voluptuous body and mestizo features is as if she decided to walk into a lion's cage. Still she glanced through the road, as she kept her attention to Darryl's presence.
"On the brighter side it seems that your temporary residence is pretty nice."
"What about you, where would you stay?" Nora asked, facing Darryl's sight.
He accommodated his black leather gloves, "A, a friend of mine, he will do me a favor to stay with him as I resolve my unfinished business."
She spends a few weeks knowing Darryl, still doesn't find it appropriate to intervene further in his life. Especially since they've just met a couple weeks ago while traveling to Birmingham, they're still strangers.
Once the cab hit into their temporary residency, Nora stepped into the snow on the ground as she lifted her head, the gates opened as she stayed amuse by the grandiose structure of their residence, golden and white with huge greenery plants decorating the side of the home. It was precious to see. Darryl helped them settle in their mansion, the one that her father's new business partner, Thomas Shelby arranged for them to stay.
The interior of the house was perfectly decorated, maids running through the hallways cleaning and dusting around the furniture, the burgundy colors as the warmth of the chimney took away from the winter white exterior. Nora had to admit that Thomas Shelby had good taste, but there wasn't the calid sensation of somebody living here, that was for certain.
"You like it, mija?" her father asked, pulling all their luggage inside.
She just nodded her head.
"I think I'll stop being an intrusion and I'll let you rest," Darryl commented, putting the rest of their things at the entrance.
"Would there be any chance that I'll see you again?"

There was a pause within each other, Darryl was aware how risky it would be, he wasn't counting with the chance of wanting to know Leonora better. But this was the shit he signed, he knew that Tommy wanted to secure his new business partners, and Darryl needed some hussle on the side, he should've think twice before getting to know who Nora was. He simply said yes to Nora, saying farewells as his shoes carried away to the snowy road, completely changing his view, as he stood into the infamous Small Heath.
