Chapter 9: Back To Hell

Lacey and Alice stayed the night. We stayed up till about 10 o clock and they went to bed. It was 11:30. I layed on my bed with my headphones in and the volume up. I layed there thinking for a while. I thought about Nolan and Naven. I was wondering what they were doing. I thought about the different kinds of vampires, and maybe since vampires and demons are real, I wonder what other creatures exist. I suddenly got an uneasy feeling and sat up. I looked around my dimly lit room, light by the street light and the moon. I paused the music and took out my headphones and stood up. I looked out the window and the feeling got worse as I saw a figure like the one before I couldn't make out who it was. I kept my eyes on it as the street lamp flickered and went out. I lost the figure in the darkness and the light fickered on to show nothing. I walked back to the bed and put my headphones back in slowly falling asleep.

I woke up late and looked at the clock. "Oh shit." I jumped up and ran downstairs. When I got to the bottom of the stairs the house was empty. I looked around and walked back upstairs and heard my phone ring. I looked at the caller ID and it read 'Lacey'. I picked it up. "Hey. When'd you guys leave?" I asked her "Well mom called and told me to drive on home so I can get ready for school tomorrow, sorry I didn't wake you up before." "It's ok, just freaked out for a second." I sat on the bed while we spoke. She said she had to go so we said our goodbyes and hung up. I walked downstairs to look for some food. I put some dishes in the dishwasher and found some toaster waffles, I cooked them then ate them putting the plate in the dishwasher and starting it up. After I watched a little TV I got up and cleaned the house.

A few hours later I put the cleaning supplies away and looked at the clock. It was 7:30 p.m. I went upstairs to the bathroom and took the bandage off my neck I looked for the puncture wounds but couldn't find them. I turned on the water and stepped into the shower. I felt the warm water pour over my body and I closed my eyes enjoying it. I turned off the shower and switched the faucet and filled the bath tub up with hot water. I slowly laid back into the hot water waiting for my body to get used to it. I propped my head on a washcloth and closed my eyes, falling asleep

×Nolan's P.O.V.×
I layed in my bed listening as rain started to fall and hit the window. I sat up as Naven walked in. "Grab your sword come on." He said and I got off my bed and grabbed my sword in the corner. And put on my trench coat and walked outside. The rain was coming down hard now as we walked into the open backyard and got into our stances. We ran at each other and clashed our swords together, a loud clap of Thunder rang out through the sky as our swords hit. I dodged his attack and turned and hit his hand with my sword. He stopped and looked down and his hand the skin on his middle knuckle was sliced off. We walked back inside and I looked for bandages but couldn't find any. "Uh, dude. I think I used the last of the bandages on Kitt. Come on I'll text her and ask if we can borrow some." I said grabbing my phone and putting my sword in the corner.

×Kitts P.O.V.×
I woke up to my phone making the notification tone and I drained the water in the tub and wrapped a bath robe around me and looked at my phone. It was Nolan.

N:Hey Kitt, you awake?
K: Yeah I'm up why?
N: well we ran out of bandages and...Navens bleeding.
K:I have some bandages come on and I'll fix him up.
N: ok thanks well be there soon.
K: alright

I went to my closet and put on my pajamas and dried my hair off as I heard the door bell ring. I walked down the stairs and to the door and opened it. Nolan stood there next to Naven who was holding his bleeding hand. We walked inside and walked to the bathroom and I grabbed a bottle of rubbing alcohol pouring a small amount on the cut. He winced and I wrapped his hand and cleaned the blood off the sink. "There we go." I said while I looked back at Nolan who was sitting on the couch watching TV. We walked back out and I sat next to him. "He's good." I smiled at him. "Thanks. Hey do we have school tomorrow?" He asked standing up. "Yes sadly and tomorrow we have to go to work too." I said getting up and following them to the door. "Well OK I'll see you tomorrow.. thanks." He said opening the door. "Thanks Kitt." Naven said walking out with Nolan following him. Nolan turned and waved at me and I waved back closing the door and locking it. I walked back upstairs and crawled into bed turning on my stereo with the remote. I layed there for a couple of minutes before slowy drifting into sleep.
