Chapter 11: Cooped

×Kitts P.O.V.×
I woke up and looked around and saw Nolan in the chair next to my bed. I moved a little as the nurse came in. She gave me medicine and let me look at my x rays. The doctor came in and started putting the cast on my arm and I winced every time he moved it. Nolan was awake and in the shower at this time and Naven was in the chair. He talked Nolan into going to school and said it'd be better if I talked to the chief of police and the principle alone. Nolan came out of the bathroom with new clothes on and him and Naven left me. I layed there alone in the quiet and reached for my phone on the nightstand. I got to my messeges and scrolled over to my contacts and started a group chat with Lacey, Alice, Nolan and Naven. I smiled as Lacey sent me a video of everyone waving at me I paused for a moment and looked up at the ceiling.

L: are you ok?
M: yeah I'm fine the cast is on finally and its itchy :(
A: were going to come up there for lunch if that's ok
M:yeah its fine
N:me and naven will bring you something what do you want
M: idc McDonalds is fine
NA:alright
L:well were bout to have to go let us know what happens with the chief of police ok?
M:ok have fun in class guys.
A: we will we love you!!!
M: love ya guys to.

I put the phone down and plugged it back to the wall and turned on the TV. I switched to the news and looked at the headline 'Body Found Mutilated in Abandoned Home.' I looked at the house and shuddered. It was the house I kept getting a strange feeling from. I listened to the news reporter. "The body is of a man age 42. The man hasn't been identified and no identification has been found." I switched the channels and put it on something else.

I looked at the clock, it was almost time for lunch. I got up to grab a book when the door opened I looked over and saw Alice, Lacey, Naven, and Nolan. I sat back down as Nolan approached me and handed me the bag of food and a big cup. I watched them sit down. I took out the 10 piece of chicken nuggets and started eating.
"I hope you get better before the dance." Lacey said. "Why I don't have a date and its still three weeks away." I said eating a fry. "Well if we don't have dates we can go together and have fun." Alice said smiling. I nodded and kept eating. An hour passed and they got up to leave. Telling me bye and they'd come back after school. I layed in bed and waited for the principal and chief of police to arrive. Victoria came in with the chief of police and the assistance principal and And the head of the board came in. They asked me questions about Hannah and Madison. I told them what they did to me and what they have been doing to me. "Well miss Maxon I'm sorry but we can not do anything to them when we went to look at the cameras the video was corrupted." My heart raced and I clenched my fists. They offered me money to not sue or press charges and they said I didn't have to make my mind up right then and gave me two weeks to think and left. I took my medicine the nurse gave me and fell asleep.

×Nolans P.O.V.×
I sat in the class and looked over to the empty desk next to me and looked down. I heard someone walk behind me and sit in Kitts seat. I saw long dirty blonde hair and a wicked smile. It was Hannah. "I heard what happens to Kitt. How sad well she was too weak to defend herself and she was in territory that wasn't Hers so she deserved it." I growled at her quietly and slammed my fists on the table. "Miss Tosh go back to your seat." She left and I felt better. I did my work for the class and looked over to see Hannah grinning at me. I rushed out of the room when the bell rang and searched for the others. I found everyone around Lacey's car as we piled into it I told them about Hannah. They seemed pissed and we rode to the hospital. When we got there we were forced to sit in the waiting room due to Kitt sleeping. I saw mom and walked over to her. She was on break so I told her about Hannah. She scowled and stormed over to the group and we sat down. She told us what happened with the chief of police and board. "WHAT THATS RIDICULOUS!!! WE SAW THEM!!" Lacey stood up yelling. "They said the video was corrupted and there's nothing they can do." Mom said looking down. My blood was boiling and I jolted up and stormed towards Kitts room and sat in a chair next to her as she slept. Soon I was joined by the others and we all sat in silence watching the TV till she woke up.
