Actually, I didn't buy them, rather it was a 2013 Christmas present when me and my sister really got into the new series (remember, EAH was made in 2013, so...)
I fell in love with the Rebs and Raven, and my sister with the Royals.
So that Christmas, we opened the biggest presents under the tree last. I went first and ripped open the paper to reveal Madeline Hatter's basic doll. I almost screamed. Then I opened up the second gift: Raven's basic doll, and shrieked! Finally, which was what I knew was a Legacy Day doll just by the size, I opened the paper and I saw Raven Queen.
You would not believe how thrilled I was to get dolls from a doll line I truly wanted. And especially after my Barbie obsession withdrawal, I was so happy.
I knew we were getting the dolls actually, because my sister called me on the phone when I was coming home from a ministry/mini vacation trip in early December and she told me that we have new present arrivals.
Then I saw the receipt for six dolls. I was so happy, I could have squealed!
My sister got Apple, Briar, and LG Apple, but she really messed them up. The basic Apple is the last to survive from her stash. I still have LG Raven and Basic Maddie to this day (I kinda destroyed B Raven).
I don't have any new dolls as of today and quite honestly, and I don't know why. I wasn't the one to destroy my dolls, I keep them intact. My sister on the other hand.
I don't think my dad likes dolls, and my mom, well, I don't really know about her.
But oh well! When I start working, I'll be able to afford them. So I guess its a win-lose-win :).What about you? What was your first purchase? How many do you have in your collection as of now? Let me know!
