Chapman Elementary School Shooting Pt 2

Mer's POV

Im literally shaking, my daughter and my son are at that school. What if they got shot, what if they get shot and die.... My mind was racing with thoughts as I stand near Derek's car with Carolyn.

"Mer" I hear a familiar voice calling my name, I turn to see Derek and my mom almost jogging towards us.

"Der" I whispered as I quickly had my arms around his neck and his were on my waist, hugging me tightly.

"It's going to okay, Okay" Derek whispered as we pull back from our hug and I look at his eyes and I see panic, terror and terrified. I squeeze his hand as we quickly get in the car and speed to the school.

When we got there, it's was chaotic, police, swats, ambulances and I lot of worried a terrified parents.
Derek and Meredith quickly jump out of the car and ran towards the school entrance but when we got there, we were stopped by police officers and there was a tape blocking people from entering.

No One's POV
"Officers, my kids are in there, can you please tell us what's happening!" Derek snapped at the officer

"Sir I understand your frustration but we can't let go in there, the shooter has been stopped and captured but we are still evacuating the students and looking out for any casualties." The officers explained

"I don't see any kids out officers, where the hell are our kids!" a man standing next to us snapped.

"Sir, we are working on it " Officers tried to reason with upset parents

"REALLY, I DOESN'T LOOK THAT WAY" Derek snapped

"Derek honey, can we let the officers do their jobs.." Carolyn tried calming Derek down

"MOM, MY KIDS ARE IN THERE, and I can't..."

"Der" Meredith whispered with tear in her eyes. Seeing Derek so panicked and scared, scared her.

"Here they come" Ellis announced as children started coming, some ran out to their parents and some came out on stretcher and bag body.

"GG!" Bailey first spotted his grandmother and ran straight to her.

"OMG BAILEY!" They shouted, Bailey ran to his mom. Meredith couldn't stop crying.

"OMG baby, are u alright?" Meredith asked as she hugged Bailey tight and Derek joined her, relieved that one of their kids is.

"I was so scared mommy" Bailey started crying

"Oh buddy, come here" Carolyn took him from Meredith.

More kids were coming out and Derek and Meredith see Zola.

"Derek, where is she?" Meredith whispered, tears rolling down her cheeks.

"CLEAR THE WAY!!!" Paramedics shouts rolling out a gurney with a little girl who's about 7 or 8 years old.

"Zola!" Derek ran towards the ambulance as the loaded her in. Meredith and Ellis quickly followed him.

Derek's POV

"Tha..that is my daughter, what wrong" Derek shouted as he stopped the gurney to see his daughter gasping for air and bleeding. His heart literally dropped.

"Da..daddy" Zola coughed out blood.

"She was shot by chest and stomach, we trying to control the bleeding!"

"OMG ZOLA! OMG!" Meredith hands shook as she tried to touch her daughter.

"Mo...mommy" Zola struggled
