Kevin took me to a theatre today. I didn't know our town had a theatre in the first place despite being a dweller for the past two years.
His eyes gleamed with a kind of light that melted something inside of me, something that spread through my blood and pooled in my stomach.
These feelings were intensifying in a way I couldn't control.
I didn't know if I wanted to rein them in either.
We sat down as the play started and I realised as two people, one man and woman, dressed casually began to sing.
"You brought me to a musical?!" I whispered harshly, my excitement threatening to burst out in a squeal.
The last five years, at that. It was something I had told him in passing during one of our first conversations. Something I had told him months ago.
He grinned, "You told me it was your favourite."
