Every girl goes through this phase of life at least once in their lives.
I was that girl and this was my phase.
The beautiful boy I had seen on New Year's Eve was stuck in my head like a chewed out gum under your school desk. Images of how he had bobbed his head, gazed at me through his long lashes right before turning away raced through my mind endlessly.
I remembered noticing the gold in his eyes, or maybe it was the streamers- I wouldn't really know. I couldn't know.
I didn't know him. I didn't know his name.
I just knew that I needed to see him.
I wanted to see him.
