Regina parked her car in the drive way and walked in, she was greeted by a hug of 7 year old Ava.
"Hey mommy! Today in school I learnt my 2 times tables! all of them!" Ava shouted excitedly.
"Well done! Clever girl!" Regina said and hugged her. Ava then ran back into the living room where 9 year old Roland was playing with his cars with Belle, who looks after Ava and Roland until Regina or Robin get back from work.
"Hey Belle! Has there been any trouble?" Regina asked, writing her a check.
"No, they were perfect! Ava was colouring in her pictures from school and Roland was playing with his cars. They are never any trouble" Belle praised.
"Good! Thanks again Belle, I'll see you tomorrow" Regina smiled and Belle left after saying goodbye to Ava and Roland. Regina then went into the living room and sat down of the couch and was joined by Ava who handed her a picture that she had drew.
"This is for you and daddy. It's me, Roland, you and daddy" Ava smiled, pointing as she said each name.
"Your a very good drawer! Thank you I love it!" Regina smiled and kissed her head. Roland then sat on the couch and looked at the drawing.
"Where's Henry?" Roland asked.
"He's in that big house over there because he's away at school" Ava smiled and pointed to the big house in the corner.
"Oh yeah" Roland smiled.
"Mommy, when's Daddy home?" Roland asked, Roland thought of Robin as his dad after Daniel said he wanted nothing more to did with any of them. Roland had mostly forgot about Daniel and Regina thought of that as a blessing.
"Any time soon baby" Regina smiled as she turned on the TV.
"Can we have chicken for tea?" Ava asked.
"Of course" Regina smiled.
"With chips?" Roland said
"Definitely" Regina laughed and as they were talking Robin walked in.
"Daddy! I learnt my two times tables today! All of them!" Ava smiled and ran up to him as he picked her up.
"Well aren't you a clever little girl!" Robin smiled and placed her down and walked to Roland and Regina.
"Hello love" Robin smiled at his wife and kissed her.
"Hello" Regina smiled.
"Daddy! Look at Ava's drawing, it's of all of us! Henry is in the big house at the top for school, that's me, Ava, you and mommy!" Roland said with a huge grin as he stood on the couch.
"Very good!" Robin smiled.
"Well come on then, better be getting tea on" Regina said as she got up and walked behind Robin as they both made their way into the kitchen and made tea for their family. Once tea was done, Ava and Roland sat at the table and Regina and Robin brought it out and they all ate, talked about their day and had family time. As soon as they had finished tea, Robin washed up the pots and Regina took Ava and Roland to have a bath. When they were done Regina and Robin tucked them in bed and kissed them both goodnight and made their way downstairs to watch tv, Regina and Robin cuddled on the couch until the decided to go to bed.
"I love you" Robin said and kissed his wife good night.
"I love you too" Regina smiled and fell asleep in Robins arms. Just the way she liked it.
