It had been a week since Regina had woken up out of her coma and the doctors had said she was allowed to go home, Regina and Robin were walking out of the hospital when all of a sudden someone shouted her name.
"Who was that? where did it come from?" Robin asked, grabbing his wife's hand.
"I don't know, come on, let's go home. Leo got arrested so we have nothing to worry about" Regina said and squeezed Robins hand. He smiled at her and they continued to walk to the car. Once inside they made their way home. Regina couldn't wait to see her children.
When they arrived home, Regina and Robin walked in and Ava and Roland jumped into Regina's arms with huge smiles on there faces.
"Hello, I missed you" Regina smiled, hugging her children.
"I missed you too, a lot" Roland said
"I missed you mommy!" Ava said
They continued to hug for a few more minutes and then all 4 of them sat on the couch. They began to watch a film as a family.
"Who thinks takeaway?" Regina said
"I do" Robin laughed
"Me!" Roland shouted
"Me! Me!" Ava laughed. Robin then ordered two child sized meals and two medium pizza's with chips. They watched the film and after about an hour the door went.
"That should be the takeaway, I'll get it" Regina said standing up.
Regina walked to the door and opened it, she didn't expect to see her ex standing there.
"Daniel?" Regina questioned.
"Hey" Daniel said awkwardly, handing her the food.
"What's taking so long love?" Robin said, walking over and holding Regina by the waist.
"No, nothing.. Just an old friend" Regina smiled and Robin handing him the food.
"Okay, well don't be too long" Robin said and kissed her cheek before he walked away.
"How's Roland?" Daniel asked.
"I don't think that's any of your business, I mean.. You didn't seem that interested when you should've been. So why now?" Regina snapped.
"Please, I'm different now.. I mean, he's my son. I have rights" Daniel said
"He's not your son, biologically? yes. Loved and raised? No. He's not and never will be your son" Regina said and went to shut the door but he stopped it from shutting.
"I do love him! You walked out on me! Remember? I never got the change to raise him!" Daniel said, his voice raised.
"Don't you dare yell at me on my own doorstep! You know why I walked out, you were never there! Always getting drunk! I walked out to give me and my son our best chance! And you know what? I found it! I have an amazing husband and two amazing children and I will not let you ruin that! Stay out of my life!" Regina shouted and slammed the door shut. She took a deep breathe before entering her living room again, she smiled at the sight of Robin laughing with Ava and Roland, this was her family, Daniel would not ruin that, no matter how much he tried.
