Chapter 10

Regina woke up, alone. She was still really upset about the whole Robin situation, but she refused to let their kids know. Regina checked the time and it was 6.45am, she got out of bed and took a shower. Once out the shower she got dressed and woke up Ava and Roland.
"Come on you two, get up for school" Regina said, and both her children took around 5 minutes until they got out of bed and walked into their parents room.
"Where's daddy?" Ava asked, and Regina's heart shrunk.
"He went to work early, he will be home later this week" Regina said with a smile.
"Oh. So he's on a work holiday?" Roland asked
"I guess so yes" Regina said as she applied the last little bit of her makeup. She made breakfast for Ava and Roland and as Ava was eating Regina did her hair.
"What do you want in your hair today baby?" Regina asked, brushing Ava's long blonde curly hair.
"French plaits please mommy" Ava asked and Regina did. Regina then took Roland and Ava upstairs to get dressed. Once the kids were dressed Regina checked the time and it was 7.30am.
"Belle will be here soon, have you both got everything?" Regina said, checking her kids bags and adding their Lunch.
"Yes mommy" Ava said as she put her shoes on.
"Yeah mommy" Roland said as he sat down. Soon after the door rang.
"That must be belle" Regina said as she got her bag and walked to the door and opened it.
"Hey mrs locksly, have a good day" belle smiled.
"You too, bye baby's" Regina waved and made her way to work.
When she was at work she got the section for her first client ready for when they came in and started her day. She missed Robin so much.

Robin woke up and still felt betrayed and upset, he got out of the bed and got ready for work. He picked his phone up and found he had 4 missed calls from Regina from the night before. He then started to feel guilty. He did just leave.. But he needed time, she needed time; they needed time. Robin text Regina.
"Hey, we need time apart.. I think it will be good for both of us to have this little break. I will not be seeing anyone in the meantime and hope you will not too, but for now, I shall be staying where I am and will come round on Saturday to see the kids. I still love you, we both just need time. X"
He then placed his phone in his pocket and walked out, he got in his car and made his way to work, only thinking about one thing. Did Regina really betray him?

Regina was on her lunch break when she got a text from Robin. She opened it and read the text. Regina let a tear fall down her cheek but she quickly wiped it away before anyone saw, Regina decided she would reply. "I agree, time apart should do us good, I just hope it's not too long. I'm missing you already! Don't worry, i won't see anyone during our break and see the kids when ever you want, I told them you were on a work vacation, didn't know what else to tell them. They miss you. I still love you too, well, I'll see you around Robin. X" Regina replied, acting though she was coping, but deep down, she was breaking at the seems, she didn't know what to do with herself.
She loved him.
He loved her.
It just turned a bit sour.
This is their sour patch...
