Once they were at the hospital, Regina was rushed into an emergency room and Robin was told to wait outside, as he walked into the waiting room her parents ran in and Cora ran to Robin and embraced him in a hug.
"How is she? Where is she?" Cora asked worried
"I don't know, they told me to wait here" Robin said, trying to stay strong.
"She'll be okay, she has a lot to fight for" Henry said, hugging his wife, who was in tears.
After a few hours a nurse walks out of a room.
"Family of Regina Locksly?" The nurse says and all three of them stand.
"How is she? Is she okay?" Robin asked worried for his wife.
"She was badly injured, we managed to stop the bleeding and she is now in a coma, we have no say in when or if she will wake up.. It's all up to her now" the nurse said with a smile.
"Can we see her?" Robin said.
"This way" the nurse said and and they followed. Robin walked into the room first and Regina just lay there, tubes in mouth.. Lifeless. A tear fell down his cheek as he looked at her, he walked towards her and sat down, he grabbed her and hand kissed it as he watched her parents grab her other hand, her mother was in tears and her dad was trying to stay strong for both Regina and her mother, but he would cry here and there.
Robin spent all his days there for over week and her parents went a night and came back first thing in the morning, Ava and Roland didn't really understand why they hadn't seen their mother but they knew better than to ask, they could tell something was wrong.
It had been a week and a half and Regina had not woken up, the nurse came in and checked Regina's heart monitor and stuff and then told Robin "we are going to try and wake your wife today, if you could inform her parents that would be great! We will be starting in an hour and a half" and then walked out. Robin rang her parents and told them and they came straight to the hospital.
"Are we ready to start?" The doctor asked the nurse and the nurse nodded, Robin stood nervously watching as they tired to wake his wife, they pulled out the first tube and the doctor nodded, they then pulled out the second one and Regina started to open her eyes.
"She's waking up, Robin, Cora, Henry" the nurse said, instructing them to come over, Robin and her parents stood at the side of her bed and she smiled.
"Hey babe" Robin smiled and Regina tried to speak but couldn't.
"Don't try to speak, you won't be able to for awhile" the doctor said and walked out, Cora and Henry gave Robin and Regina a moment alone and Robin kissed his wife's forehead.
"I'm never going to nearly loose you again" Robin said and Regina smiled, she grabbed his hand and squeezed it.
Regina was okay, Robin was thrilled.
But was this the end of their difficult year?
