Saturday came round sooner than they anticipated. Robin was making his way to his and Regina's home to see his children. He missed them lots. Robin was nervous about Regina, he didn't know what he would say, how he would act. But one think he did know is that it would be awkward. All he wanted to do was talk to her about what he saw, but he didn't want lies. He didn't realise she was telling the truth.
Regina got Ava and Roland ready for their day out with Robin. Regina wanted to talk to Robin, make him understand that what he was different that what happened, he didn't see her push him away, she wanted to make sure he knew that. Once Ava and Roland were ready, the door went.
"That will be your dad, come on, get your shoes on" Regina said to her children as she walked to the door.
She opened the door and let Robin in.
"Are they ready?" Robin asked, avoiding eye contact with her knowing that if their eyes met, he wouldn't be able to leave.
"Yeah, their getting their shoes on" Regina said, walking into the kitchen in her oversized jumper and shorts, she knew she didn't have to dress up for Robin to come, and so did he, to him, Regina was perfect. Robin followed her into the kitchen.
"How are you?" Robin asked awkwardly.
"Oh I'm having a ball" Regina said, she was still quite upset and angry that he just left without hearing her side of the story.
Can we.. Talk?" Robin asked.
Regina turned around quickly.
"About what? The fact that you left without hearing what actually happened? Sure" Regina said, slamming the cup down.
"Well, what happened then?" Robin asked.
"Well, he came, and I told him to go away, then HE kissed me, I pushed him away and slammed the door shut" Regina explained, missing out where she kissed him back.
"Did you kiss back?" Robin asked
"Only for a second! It was a shock! It was just a reaction" Regina defended.
"I really wish I believed you" Robin said and as Regina was about to say something Roland came running in.
"Daddy!" Roland shouted as he ran in.
"Hello big man! Where's your sister?" He said, hugging Roland.
"I'm here!" Ava said and ran in.
Once they were ready, the three of them went out. Regina then got ready for work. Once at work Regina got on with her day after telling Emma (her boss&closefriend) that she needed to be home before 6.

Robin took Ava and Roland to a meal and then the park, the three of them were having such a good time, yet Robin felt a missing presence, Regina. He wanted her to be here, but he didn't want her to be here. Robin was very confused. He wanted a break, yet he wanted to kiss her and hold her, he wanted the truth, but wouldn't believe it when she told him. Robin didn't know what he wanted. So he decided he would speak to Regina when he was taking the kids back, they would have a proper conversation, and they would both decided what's better. A break, or a split. Neither of them were in the right mind to be together at the moment, they both needed time.

Regina got home and set her bag and shoes down in the porch and got changed, she put on a black tank top and grey baggy shorts, she put her hair in a bun and wiped of her makeup. Regina then made herself some tea and sat on the sofa, she watched a few episodes of 'orange is the new black' before the door went. Regina got up and opened the door and let the three of them in.
"Have you both have fun?" Regina asked, sitting down again after hugging both of them.
"Yeah!" Roland shouted with a smile.
"Yes yes!" Ava chanted hugging Regina.
"Im glad! Go play in the games room, I want a word with daddy" Regina said and both of the children ran into the play room.
"Sit" Regina said, hand gesturing to the sofa, he sat down and looked at Regina.
"What would you like too do? I think we both agree that a break would do us good, but what kind of break would you want? A break where we're still together and just having time apart or a spilt break where we are single, but together" Robin explained.
"Well I don't want us to split up, but we do need a break.. So the first option. I have to ask you something though." Regina said
"Go ahead" Robin said.
"You do believe me? About Daniel?" She said.
"Of course I do! I just- we just, need some time." Robin smiled.
"Good" Regina smiled.
"Well I better get going, I'll see you soon Regina" Robin said, wanting to call her babe, but changing his mind.
"Yeah, I'll see you" Regina said.
"Oh and Regina" Robin said turning around and continuing "I love you" Robin smiled and Regina grinned big.
"I love you too, we need this" she said and closed the door slowly. She put Roland and Ava into bed and then made her way to bed, she lay on her bed, thinking about how long the break would last, she then got a text.
It was from Daniel.
"I know that kiss meant something to you, text me" it said she replied.
"It didn't, all it did was nearly ruin my marriage. Stay away Daniel, or I'll call the police! This is harassment" and she sent it, soon after the got a reply.
"All I want is happiness, I was only ever happy with you and Roland, let me see him atleast"
"No, now stop texting me." She said and turned her phone off, she plugged it in and soon feel asleep.

Robin got back to his motel room and get in the shower, in the shower he was thinking about how long he could last without kissing Regina, holding Regina, being with Regina. He missed her smell, the way she wrinkled her nose when she disliked something, and her eyes. He missed loosing himself into her brown eyes. He then got out of the shower and lay in bed, thinking about Regina. He then fell into a peaceful sleep.
