The Races

Kate followed and saw lot's of lords and barons were around Edwina and in the corner of her eye she saw Lord Bridgerton making his way toward Kate herself.''Lady Danbury,Miss Sharma''Lord Bridgerton greeted them by bowing then taking Kates hand to his lips.''Lord Bridgerton''Kate said curtsying 

''Miss Sharma I will look after Miss Edwina,I wish for you to join the Bridgerton Party if that is agreeable with Lord Bridgerton''Lady Danbury said with a mischievous grin

''I would be delighted for Miss Sharma to join me''Anthony said smiling at his luck

''I would like that very much''Kate said a bit to sincerely for Anthony not to notice

Lady Danbury walked off and Anthony offered Kate his arm which she took and they walked together rather slowly.The ladies sent Kate killer looks and men looked in awe at the changed Viscount.  

Then two children barley under 13 disturbed there solitude''Anthony Gregory won't let me have the last of my biscuits''The girl said rather loudly

''There mine''

''They are not''

''They are mine''

''Hyacinth,Gregory this is Miss Sharma, Miss Sharma these are my youngest siblings Gregory and Hyacinth''Anthony said with a grin

''Miss Sharma'' they said in unison and rushed to walk beside her

''I think you two forget who is escorting her''Anthony reminded them

''Well I can do that now''Gregory said offered his arm which Kate took and gave a small smile to Anthony

Hyacinth took Kate hand and they walked slowly with Anthony following from the view he got.Kate she look so beautiful while she talked to his siblings.Hyacinth was talking about the horses and how she wished she was out for the season.Gregory on the other hand was awed with Miss Sharma to the point Anthony was scared he would have to duel his brother.

''Lord Bridgerton''Kate asked looking back

''Yes Miss Sharma''He answered back putting himself between Kate and Gregory then taking her wrist and wrapping his arm around it.Kate noticed this and rolled her eyes playfully while Gregory and Hyacinth just watched in confusion.

''Who do you think will win the race''Kate asked with curiosity 

''Nectar''

Kate just laughed

''What?''

''You think Nectar is going to win''

''Of course''

''You are wrong''

''Am I know''Anthony asked as he watched the feisty woman next to him''who will win then''

Now it was Anthony's time to laugh

''Seems we are at a disagreement My Lord''

Now that had reached where the other lot of the Bridgerton's rested and Kate studied the group.She had already been introduced to Lady Bridgerton next to her was a man similar to Anthony only a little bit taller and the man next to him was the same except shorter than his brothers.

Then there was a lady sat down who looked as if she wanted to be anywhere but here.She looked like her mother but there were other features to her which were not her mothers and Kate could only presume them to be the late Lord Bridgerton's face.

''Miss Sharma these are my siblings Benedict,Colin and Eloise and you are already aquatinted with the rest of the party''Anthony introduced them

''Miss Sharma''Colin bowed then kissed her hand''We have heard much about you''

''I hope it is all good''Kate said 

''It is I assure you''Benedict assured her

Kate took a seat which Anthony followed and took his place beside her while Hyacinth and Gregory fought over who would sit on the other side of Kate.The half an hour before the races was spent in laughter and talking for the Bridgerton Party.When the races began Kate and Anthony were shoulder to shoulder whistling for there horse to win.

High flyer won and Anthony Bridgerton lost a part of his pride but it was worth it to see Kate Laugh at him.
