An;SO this is an idea I saw on Fanfiction net and I'm inspiring the plot on this but not all of it.ENJOY

Kate spent all day replaying the encounter with one Lord Bridgerton as she listened and talked about her sisters prospects.When all the guests arrived  Edwina had been asked by three Barons to dance and so she was delighted she was the centre of attention.

Kate started walking around the ballroom which got boring after a minute or two when she saw a few men who had danced with Edwina.They of course started to lightly stroll in Kate direction so she ducked outside in to the garden to come face to face with

''Miss,Please don't go''He pleaded as she turned away to go back inside but he grabbed her hand to turn her to face him.

''Why do you want me to stay,My Lord''She asked and freed her hand from his hand

''I still want to know your name,Miss''He said standing in the way of the door so she couldn't escape

''Well you may face the dragon herself then you will be welcome to my name,My Lord''She said jokingly hoping he wouldn't face the dragon.

''Well I better go find her the,If you will excuse me''He said with a smirk as he turned on his heels and went inside.

Kate could do nothing but go back inside only to be found by Edwina and Mary saying one Lord Bridgerton wanted to be introduced .''Didi isn't great he wants to meet me I must have caught his attention on the dance floor''Edwina said excitedly at the thought of dancing with a Viscount.

''Yes he must have found you enchanting''She said with a forced smile

With that Mary took the two girls to Lady Danbury who was standing next to Lord Bridgerton and a woman who Kate did no know.''Lord Bridgerton, Lady Bridgerton may I Introduce Miss Sharma and Miss Edwina, Kate,Edwina may I introduce you to Lord and Lady Bridgerton''Lady Danbury made the introduction

''Miss Sharma what a pleasure to meet you''He said as he bowed then kissed her hand for longer than needed with a smile

''The pleasure is mine,My Lord''Kate said politely but she could feel her heartbeat racing.

''You as well,Miss Edwina''he then bowed to her and placed a short kiss on her hand.Which took Edwina back he seemed more interested in Kate and not her.She had always been the one to be addressed first and had the longer kiss on the hand but now the roles were reversed.

''As, I you''Edwina said quickly before she got caught up in her thoughts

Lady Bridgerton was talking with Mary and Lady Danbury,So Anthony decided to take action''Miss Sharma, May I have your next dance in you are not otherwise engaged''Anthony asked knowing she could not turn him down.

''You may,My lord''She said and she then looked at him and saw he was staring at her with a smug smile on his face.

A minute later Lord Bridgerton led Miss Sharma away for a reel and the ton was in shock Viscount Anthony Bridgerton was smiling while dancing with a lady.Lady Bridgerton was in shock her son chose to dance with a lady and was not forced.Anthony did not know half the ton was staring and whispering he was to busy smiling at his dance partner.

''Seems like you can not hide from me anymore,Miss Sharma''He started to say after less than a minute after the dance started

''I am offended you think I hide,My Lord''She retorted in a heart beat

''Well I am sorry to offend you''He said sincerely that it took he back a little

''Why did you ask me to dance,My Lord''She asked after a bit of small talk

''Why do you ask''He asked back a bit confused at the question

''Everyone thought you would dance with Edwina''She explained

''Why would they think that''He asked and had a strange feeling what would be said next

''Well every man does,I never got asked in India''She answered

''Why would they do that,You are truly and utterly beautiful Miss Sharma''He flirted to her and he hoped she knew he was sincere

''I am nothing compared to Edwina''She said in a whisper

''No you are better than her''He whispered back''and that is why I am going to court you''

''Because I'm better''She asked a little hurt for her sister

''No because you are not glaring at me dancing with her unlike what she is doing now''He asked in a mock stern tone

Kate looked at her and he was right she was glaring at her and Lord Bridgerton, When she turned back to Lord Bridgerton was looking at he like nothing else existed.Mary looked at her stepdaughter and Lord Bridgerton and she,Lady Danbury and Violet  plotted a wedding.

It was clear that anyone with eyes

That Anthony Bridgerton was going to fall in love

with Miss Kate Sharma

Except for Kate herself
