PART SEVEN - HERO OR VILLAIN?

The next day arrived and I actually had a long sleep. That's a first. Soon as I opened my eyes me and Parker had made eye contact. He smiled and I couldn't help but smile back. "Morning bitches" scarlet said as she let out a huge yawn. "Was that necessary?" I asked with a sarcastic tone. Scarlet laughed and stood up. "Guess who's working with you today? This girlllll" she pointed at her self with an annoying smile. I want to punch her so badly. "How wonderful" I said in the most neutral tone. Parker laughed at my sarcasm. Scarlet tutted. The metal door swung open with a loud bang. Tyler and three guards came marching down through hall. Where on earth is Connie? no where to be seen apparently. "Tyler where is nurse Connie?" I asked. "Oh ummm I'm not sure" he replied. How very helpful. That's when I heard someone running. "Sorry I'm late. I had a situation to sort out. I'm here now so get changed" Connie demanded. So she shows up late then starts being rude? Ugh.

When everyone was ready, we were all taken down to the room we were in today. I was so nervous about working with scarlet because I knew that she couldn't be trusted at all. I bet she was smiling behind me thinking of all the ways she could hurt me right now if she wasn't wearing the handcuffs.

We all came to a stop in-front of a giant metal door. The handle turned and the door opened slowly. Someone had opened it from the inside. Another scientist stood with a smile. I assumed they wouldn't be smiling for much longer. "Right this way" said the scientist. It's a shame because he seemed really friendly. But when has that ever meant something around here?

The scientist escorted us to the middle of the room. "Now. Parker and scarlet are going to work together first and then piper we will work with you" he told us with a smile. Wasn't too happy about that but that's out of my control I guess. I was shown to the bench against the wall where I could watch and wait for my turn. Scarlet walked towards me. "Let's hope I don't kill your boyfriend" she sniggered. "That's not even funny scarlet" I replied in the most aggressive tone possible. She smiled and walked back over to the middle. "So Parker we saw how you fought off the reflectors powers in Piper's mind on the security tapes. Not only were we all impressed but it was far beyond your capabilities. So today, we are going to get you to practice that again. Scarlet will try to control me and you have to try to prevent it" said the scientist. This can't be good. "Sounds fun" scarlet smiled as she looked at Parker. Parker looked nervous. The handcuffs were taken off of scarlet and she looked at the scientist. "Whenever you're ready Scarlet" he told her. All of a sudden his pupils went from a brown to a blood red. Scarlet had him already. Parker's eyes turned orange and began to try fight off scarlets powers. I still don't trust her. Blood witches can't be trusted. That's when out of no where scarlet jumped onto Parker knocking them both on the ground. Before he could get up she jumped onto him and punched him so hard she left him unconscious. I stood up to interfere but scarlet rand straight at me. I closed my eyes as quick as I could. "Open your eyes Piper! No boyfriend to help you this time and you can't attack if you can't see" she was right. Shit. I opened my eyes a squint to try and run to Parker. She grabbed me and threw me onto the ground. I hit my head and a dizzy sensation over came me. I could barely see straight. Scarlet darted to me and opened my eyelids with my fingers. Things were still a blur and my head was still too dizzy to fight. I saw her eyes turning blood red and she stood up. I stood up with her. I was like her mirror. I could stop what I was doing. She had control over me. I was conscious about what I was doing but couldn't stop it. It was a horrible feeling. "HEY STOP THERE!" Shouted the scientist. Scarlet held her hand out and twisted her hand. I mirrored this action and ended up snapping the scientist's neck. His body dropped to the ground. Nurse Connie and Tyler ran to stop me but scarlet used me again to launch them both out the way. She held her hand out and began to push the air. I realised this was pushing open the locked door. I heard lots of metal creaking and rusting movements. The door finally gave way and exploded off its hinges and crashed onto the floor. "I know exactly where we are going" she spoke with a sinister grin on her face. Who knows what dreadful things she was going to make me do.

She continued to walk down the halls with a slight march and I did the same behind her. I began to recognise where I was. I saw the rooms in front of me. What was she going to make me do. I couldn't even cry. She had full control of my body. The others were in their rooms. "Piper?!" Cordelia said as she stood up quickly. "I'll start with you then" said scarlet making me say the same thing. I saw the fear in Cordelia's face. "Blood witch" she muttered. Scarlet held out her hand and lifted it into the air. I did the same and Cordelia began to raise off the ground. The rest of them were banging on the glass telling me to stop. I couldn't. Scarlet made me slowly clench my hand and Cordelia began to choke. That's when she turned to water and fell from my grasp. "SERIOUSLY?!" Shouted scarlet. Scarlet snapped her head to Ava. Ava began to shake her head. "No please no" she pleaded. "Weak bitch" scarlet said making me say the same. She repeated what she made me do to Cordelia, but in this situation Ava couldn't escape. "Please Piper" she cried. That's when I slowly felt scarlets control fading. I felt more control and began fighting her off. Ava fell to the ground as I pulled my hand back. "HOW?!" Scarlet shouted. "Of course it's you" She turned her head to behind me. I looked and saw Parker. He saved me once again. I wanted to run into his arms. "What a predicament you've made for yourself Parker. I couldn't get in your head because you managed to use your powers to shut me out. Unlike from the reflector, since you didn't know you could do it. However. You can't shield Piper and yourself" scarlet laughed. His eyes widened and scarlet stared into them. They filled a blood red. "NO!" I screamed. Scarlet held her hands out at him. "Your heart beats for her. Let's fix that" she smiled as I saw Parker starting to slowly fall to his knees. Cordelia transformed back to human form. "SHES GONNA STOP HIS HEART!". I saw Parker's eyes slowly losing life. I felt rage and sadness. Parker was right. He made me strong. I didn't realise how strong until it happened. The emotions that I was feeling began to take over. "GET THE FUCK AWAY" I screamed at scarlet and a warp of power blasted through the hall. The glass that was supposed to be ineffective to our powers had in fact started to crack. The cracks grew like a tree, forming branches over taking the glass. But this was on everyone's glass windows. Scarlet flew back against the wall and was pinned there. The glass for every room blew open and shards of glass fell to the ground. Each shard lifted off the ground like an army of knives, floating beside me. Now she was scared. Everyone had escaped from their rooms. Ava and Cordelia ran to Parker. He was barely breathing. I was ready to launch every shard of glass into scarlet. "Piper you're not a killer! Don't be like her!" Shaun yelled to me. He was right. But I wanted her dead. Instead I threw the glass pinning her to the wall. She wasn't dead but she was trapped. I ran to Parker to check on him. He slowly opened his eyes and gave me a weak smile. A tear of relief left my eyes. That's when I saw a bolt of lighting barely miss my head and burn the wall. Jeremy had blood red eyes behind me. Scarlet had him. He tried to conjure up another storm and enough lighting to kill me directly. Ava ran to scarlet and held her hand on her forehead. Scarlet screamed in pain. I saw a sizzling coming off her head. Ava was burning her. Scarlet lost contact from Jeremy Ava took her hand off and had melted a patch of her skin away. That's when scarlets clothes ripped on the glass and she fell onto the floor. She ran and tried to escape. Cordelia turned to water and swarmed around her. She was drowning her. Scarlet fell over and couldn't breathe. Cordelia eventually let go. Scarlet ran as fast as she could. Ava went to run after her but I put my arm out. "Just leave it. She'll get caught. There are cameras everywhere. Right now I want to make sure Parker is okay" I told them. They agreed and helped Parker to his feet. He was half standing and half holding onto me for support. I held him close. I didn't care if my arm went dead. I wasn't going to let him go.

I know everyone was trying to help but it felt like they were in the way. Was I being possessive over Parker? I hope not. That's when we all went silent. I heard a blood curling scream. It was scarlet.
