PART THIRTEEN-MANHUNT

Parker and I ran for our lives. Rowan continued to fire at us. He was using all sorts of gifts on us. Including Ava's fire, Jeremy's storm, Cordelia's water manipulation and of course my telekinesis. "So what's your plan now?!" Asked Parker as we were running. "I know where we need to go" I said to him. "I trust you" he replied. Rowan was getting angry, because he started getting more aggressive. He blew out an entire wall. We had to dodge the flying bricks. He kept blowing up rooms to gain easier access to hitting us. All the corners of the halls gave us a chance. I levitated the bricks and launched them back. I'm not sure if it hit either of them but it was an attempt of defence.we kept running and I was leading Parker. I think he began to figure out where we were going. I could hear more corridor walls being blown apart. The dust and destruction followed us.

Finally after a lot of running we had reached where I had intended. Back at the rest of the rooms. The glass was good as new. Time to change that again. I broke it once before. I can break it again. All of them stood and looked at me and Parker. "You guys just keep coming back" said Ava. "We are here to bust you out. I need your help fighting Rowan. You in?" I asked. They all nodded their heads. I explained everything that just happened as I was trying to break the glass. The others were shocked and disgusted at Rowan. "Come on piper you can break it!" Cheered on Jeremy . I pushed with all my might and the glass showed a crack. I was actually doing it. Power proof glass. Not so power proof for me. Jeremy began to kick the glass to help spread the crack. It was working. The more he kicked and the more I pushed I saw it spreading. After a lot of teamwork and struggle it shattered. Jeremy broke through. Parker caught him. I think you know why we broke you out first. Jeremy nodded. He circled his hands and an electrical cloud formed. The lightning crackled and glowed. This was enough to kill someone. He held it up in the air and pushed his arms down with a force. The cloud struck each room door on the electrified keycard padlocks. They all beeped green and opened. We did it.

After everyone was out we made our way to the giant room that looked like a gym. The room we all had our first brawl. This time we'd be fighting with instead of against each other. I'd explained to everyone that they could lose their lives and that Shaun was dead. He was also innocent. Rowan killed scarlet, using Shaun's power to frame him. "Why though?" Asked Ava. "Because he knew Shaun would look for me. The whole thing was a trap and we walked right into it" I replied. All of us mourned for Shaun.

I heard another explosion. He was close. That's when Tyler ran through the door. "ROWAN IN HERE!" He called out. "YOU TRAITOR!" Shouted Jeremy. Tyler laughed. "Aww how cute. You formed a little gang. It's still not enough to beat him". I scoffed. Cocky much. "You know Tyler, if your head wasn't so far up Rowan ass maybe we'd actually care about your opinion" I said. Ava let out a laugh. Rowan blew open the door sending it flying off the hinges. "Bout time you arrived. Why so late?" Asked Parker sarcastically. "I got held up. It appears your girlfriend likes to throw bricks at people" Rowan replied angrily. I laughed. Tyler got the gun back out and pointed it at me. Cordelia turned to water and consumed him. She wouldn't move and Tyler was slowly running out of air. Rowan ran to Tyler and used Ava's power on Cordelia. Her water form started to sizzle. She was evaporating. She quickly transformed back and had burns on her arms. I just wanted it Tyler to fucking die. He was getting on my nerves and no one could kill him, because Rowan protected him like a mother protects her newborns. We couldn't get close. "You've annoyed me for the last time piper!" Shouted Rowan. He conjured up a rain cloud. Rain drops slowly began to patter on my skin. That's when the drops began to sizzle on my arms. This wasn't just any rain cloud. It was acid rain. I quickly held my hand out and used my powers to hold the giant door over us. The rain pattered on the door and I heard it slowly dissolving. Tyler and Rowan stood in the corner unaffected. He made the cloud to fill the room, except from where he was stood. The door continued to get rained on and the more rain that fell the more the door had been affected. That's when I noticed a hole form in the door. Jeremy stood out from under it and tried to get rid of it, since Rowan had used his power. He held his hands up and focused. The clouds slowly began to clear but the rain was burning his skin. He kept going. I saw his arms and face getting red with burns from the acid. It began to burn through layers of his skin. The clouds had finally cleared. Jeremy was in bad shape. I made sure he was safely out the way. "That was a nasty trick" yelled Ava. Rowan laughed. Rowan's eyes glowed orange and went into Ava's head. This was bad. I've seen what Parker can do. Who knows what Rowan is capable of. She started crying and was scared. What was he doing to her? "I got you Ava" said Parker. He went into Ava's head too and was actually fighting off Rowan in her mind.

That's when Tyler picked up one of the training knives and threw it at Parker. For a carer he had good aim. He use to be a guard which is probably why. The knife flew at Parker and stabbed him in the shoulder. Parker fell on to the ground. "NO!" I screamed. I used my powers to pick up every sharp training weapon in the room. I threw them all at Tyler. Each one impaled every inch of his body as he was pinned to the wall. Tyler had been stabbed in so many places, he was dead in no time. Rowan got out of Ava's head to run to Tyler. "YOU BITCH!" He screamed at me. "YOU WANNA PLAY LIKE THAT PIPER?! SO BE IT" he bellowed at me. "Let's pick off the ones you care about" he smiled and held his hand out. Jeremy was dragged from the corner and held into the air. This was not going to happen. I tried to stop him and he held up one hand to block my attacks. Ava was throwing fire at him hot enough to melt diamonds. He was blocking every one of them. Cordelia tried to charge at him, and launch water at him. He used Ava's power once again to burn her. She couldn't take much more of it. Rowan conjured up a lighting bolt and threw it at Jeremy. He was brutally electrocuted. His body was shaking and he was being burned. That's when he fell to the ground. Dead. I had no time to react. He was going to pick us off one by one.

The next person he turned to was Cordelia. She was too hurt to turn to water. Me and Ava did our best to protect her. That's when I notice her stomach started to bloat. "I feel like I'm drowning!" She yelled. "The human body is made of 60% water. Let's increase that for you" said Rowan as he smiled. Cordelia started to cough up water. That's when Ava threw a shit tonne of fire at him. He was busy blocking each one and I managed to land a hit on him. I used my powers and launched him through four sets of walls this bought us time. Cordelia's water levels began to lower and she had stopped drowning. Parker's eyes glowed orange and Cordelia's did too. She got up and weakly ran through the door and opposite the direction I threw Rowan. "I made her run till she knew she was safe. She's too injured to fight anymore" said Parker. I nodded in agreement. He stood up and walked up next to me and Ava. It was just us three left.  I was ready to walk through the broken walls and go up to Rowan. Parker pulled me and Ava aside. "Wait. I have an idea but you need to trust me" he said.
