"Tell me heiress what do you make of that?" You heard Jameson's voice say before you instantly put your hand over Avery's eyes.

"Dude, you better put on shirt!" You felt Avery trying to let her see. "Who the hell just walks around without a shirt?" You could've sworn that these guys just do what ever they want.

Jameson just gave you a smug look. "Calm down, Y/n, what's up your-"

"They're all last names," Avery interrupted as she finally got your hand off of her eyes. "Your fathers?"

"Hm, I would've guessed that Jameson came straight from hell." You crossed your arms.

"Can't you two every get along?" Avery pinched the bridge of her nose. She was so close to just send either one out of the room if she heard a witty response again. Avery always wondered if you ever had no issues with anyone but her.

"Skye doesn't talk about our fathers." Jameson answered. "As far as she's concerned, it's a Athena-Zeus situation. We're hers and hers alone." He looked at you. "Are you looking for someone, Y/n?"

"No, just checking the place out." You didn't want to be eavesdropped again by a certain someone or anyone sneaking in either.

Jameson and Avery both gave each other a disbelieving look. Avery wanted to get to the point of even meeting with Jameson in the first place. "Skye told me that she had four lovely conversations..."

"With four lovely men," Jameson finished. "but lovely enough for her to ever see them again? To tell us the first thing about them? She's never so much as answered a question about our damned middle names, and that-" He picked up an alcohol bottle that you hadn't noticed before and took a sip. "is why I'm drinking." He set the bottle down again.

You've tried alcohol once, tasted bitter, and didn't try again. Stuff like that was the only thing your parents actually cared about not being around you. They were worried that word would spread that your family was irresponsible with their child. Hell, most of your parents friends didn't even know that they had you.

"Hey, y'n? Y'n?"

"I think he's in his own world, mystery girl." Jameson snapped his fingers in front of your face.

You moved his hand out of your face. "I wasn't." You looked at Avery and then to Jameson. "Are we going somewhere or something?"

"I'll tell you on the way." Avery told you while Jameson was already heading towards the door.

_____

"Ah my eye!" You covered your eye with your hand after a coat hanger smacked you in the face. "Did we really have to go though some secret door closet thing to get to your mother?"

"Y/n, the less you complain, the faster we'll get to Jameson's mom." Avery said from behind you in the darkness of the hidden pathway.

"You should listen to Avery more often, Y/n." You heard Jameson's voice in front of you. You had chosen to go in between the two cringey love birds since you didn't want to heard or witness any flirting.
