6- Falling For Him?

The next day we got back to P'Mile's house then P'Mile and I made our way back to Bangkok.

Before leaving Barcode gave me one of his favorite toy as a souvenir.

All the way back P'Mile's mood was still a bit blunt. My eyes didn't leave his face for a second. Before I realize we reached my house.

My mom hugged as soon as she saw me.

"Thanks Mile, for taking care of him."

He just nodded with a smile on my mom's words.

After sharing a few words with dad he is ready to leave. He just smiled a little at me before turning to his car.

I wanted to ask him something but I couldn't.

I know he's not mad at me but still.

After a few days _

Things start going as it was before. He comes to teach me piano. I also started playing some guitar chords.

I sometimes talk with my new friend Barcode too. I invited him to visit me here as well.

Time passed so fast.

It's been almost 3 years.

I can't believe P'Mile is coming to teach me for 4 years consistently. I didn't think that we would reach here.

I'm now a very good student of P'Mile with good skills in both piano and guitar. Though my parents keep telling me not to bother P'Mile again but I'm the one who's holding him to meet me everyday. He still brings me chocolate.

Seeing him became a habit of mine. I give him a kiss on his cheek every time before he leaves. This still gives me butterflies in my stomach.

About my friend Barcode, we also video chat with each other. Share our thoughts and experience of everyday life.

Though I invited him so many times but he didn't visit me yet. So this time I insisted on P'Mile to bring him here.

My parents hold a small family party because of dad's a deal success in business.

Barcode is coming with P'Mile. Finally.

In the evening _

Guests are coming. My cousin is also here to bother me as well.

P'Mile arrived with my friend, Barcode.

I took him to my room while the elders are enjoying their party downstairs. My dumbass cousin also followed us because only 3 of us are children considering others.

"Ta ... Aren't you gonna introduce me with your cutie friend?"

"You always bully my friends and they keep staying away from me because of you idiot. but this time I'm not gonna let you tease him. Get outta here."

"Come on. I won't bully anymore. See he's cute and beautiful... Hi beauty! I'm Fen. Ta's beloved cousin. You?"

Beloved my foot!!

"Stay away from Barcode."

"Oh nice name."

This bastard!

"It's ok Ta. Let's play together. More people means more fun."

"See your friend is more intelligent than you."

"Yeah.. at least he's not a hypocrite like you as well."

We wanted to play video games. But this sticky cousin starts praising Barcode.

"Hey Code.. you're already charming. My eyes can't see anything but you. I'm going blind with your beauty."

Like seriously!! He's flirting at this age.

"I think you immediately go for a check up to the doctor before you lose your eyesight." Innocent baby Code replied.

I laughed so hard. Code starts setting up the game.

"See, this is what happens when you flirt at this age. Dude we're only 11. And Nong Code is hardly 10. Thankfully he doesn't understand your cheap poetry."

"Dude you don't understand... I have already fallen for him. Love at first sight."

"Shut up with your nonsense, idiot! Do you even understand what are you talking about?"

"I'm talking about love bro. Love.. the beautiful poem among every poems in this world."

"From where you got these lines?!"

"I sneakily read mom's novels. How beautifully every word is written about love and now I know I've fallen for this beauty at the first sight."

"Really? So what is love for you my cousin?"

"Love is when you like someone more than he means to you. Like you feel comfortable and happy around him or feeling butterflies in your stomach. When you close your eyes you can see only one face. When you want to spend your whole life with only that person then getting married, having a family. Everyone has different POV to describe this. No one can make you understand it fully. You will realize this by yourself."

"Wow.. you really said that by yourself or.."

"I read these lines from a book. Good to empress him, right?"

I poked his head hard.

"Dumbass!! Don't start again with your poetry. Let's focus on the game. And don't you dare to disturb my friend."

"Fine.. I'll take it slowly. Don't worry. I'll win him over."

"Yeah, in your dreams."

Well the rest of the time Fen's eyes didn't leave Code's face. I kicked him out of my room when I got a chance.

Barcode is staying over with me. He fell asleep. I'm still thinking about Fen's words. Is it love when you like someone took much?

When I think about to choose a person to hold my hand forever only P'Mile's face appears in front of me. Is it love?

Am I... Falling for him?

Fen is a dumbass but this is the first time he said something that is keeping my mind to think over and over again.

But isn't it too fast to fall for someone?

I mean I'm grown up but still...

Whom can I talk about this matter? I don't think the elders can help much about this rather my mom would kill me if I asked something like this!

Should I ask P'Mile instead? At least he won't get mad at me.

I went to the guest room where he's staying tonight.

I knocked the door.

He opened with a smile.

My heart skipped for a moment again. I'm really falling for him!
