INEZ FOLLOWED THROUGH WITH GIVING CHICO A FUNERAL, she thought maybe this would make him hate her a little less when she finally made her way to him. She was coming, Chico. Some day very soon.

They say there are five stages of grief, Ilieva was currently on stage four— that being 'depression'.

And she wasn't sure if she'd make it out of this one.

If she wasn't shitfaced drunk at a party somewhere in town, Inez was in her dorm, an empty bottle in her hand, slouched on her bedroom floor because she didn't make it to her bed.

Master Lin tried to give her a grace period, time to mourn— but he watched day and night as the girl destroyed herself, he couldn't bear the sight. She was stronger than this, he knew it.

He waited up for her tonight, just like he had for the last three months. This time he sat in her dorm, facing the door.

Inez stumbled into her room, giggling at the sight of her headmaster. "Mr. Lin." She tilted her head downwards in a nod. "Lovely night tonight, isn't it?"

He remained stoic, giving her an unimpressed glare. "I'm done watching this pathetic spiral into death, Angel. Tomorrow you will show up to the auditorium when you are called with the rest of the school, complete your freshman exam and report back to me at the end of the school day."

She stiffened at his orders, her smile falling. "And if I don't?"

Master Lin nodded. "I will do what I think is best for you." He answered cryptically. "Now get some rest, you have a seven start." The man continued to move around her room and to the door.

Her eyes trailed along with his frame, annoyed with his authority.

He closed the door behind him, leaving Inez alone in her room.

Inez knew she needed to return to class, make a normal routine of her life. She knew she needed to get better. Chico wanted that.
