Chapter 4___>>>>>>>
Waking up II
Bintu pov:
I looked at the ingrate of a stranger then back at my father.
"He just pushed me , am not talking to him" I stubbornly acted but bit back my pride as my father gave me a warning gaze.
I stood in front of the stranger and started explaining.
I opened my small soft hand and waved it in front of him.
"Recover fast and I will teach you a lesson" I threatened using sign language.
"What did you tell him?" My father asked.
"I explained to him that we saved him and meant no harm"I lied smiling shamelessly."Also tell him to stay calm" my mother said.
" you'll regret ever pushing me" I dared again using sign language.
I swear I saw a smirk on his face before it went away.
"Attend to his wounds my dear" my mother said as I glared at him before returning back to action.
I picked up the wet rag and harshly scrubbed it on his pretty face.
He surprisingly stayed still and was enduring all my harsh treatments but those eyes were throwing daggers at me with that glare.
I picked up the mashed herbs and started applying it on an injury on his forehead before returning to the internal injury on his leg.
I applied a generous amount of the herbs around my palms before massaging the injured
leg gently.
I crooked my neck to see his facial reaction but he was surprisingly calm again.
I added a stranger pressure and he hissed lowly before scrunching his brows in pain.
I suddenly felt bad for doing that and started massaging generously.
"Done" I said as I turned and saw only my father sitting.
"Where is mama?" I asked
"In the kitchen" my father answered pointing at the medium sized mud building with large window."Let help him in one of the free rooms" my father said pointing at the empty room near mine.
" Why that one" I stubbornly protested.
"I thought you had sense , how many free rooms do we have," my dad said.
We have only one free room , he should have said that.
The room beside mine is the largest room in the house after our parents' room.
It used to be Tanimu's room but he complained to our parent for a change because I disturb him with my melodic voice whilst singing my songs early in the morning.
Our parent had another room built for him right opposite mine but a smaller one as there is no enough space in the house.
"But you are the one to help him, right?" I asked my father as I glared at the stranger again.
"Not that you can carry him" He said as he approached the man to help him but the stranger kept staring at me. The guts!
The stranger backed away when my father approached him like a parasite was about to infect him.
"No, I am just helping you into that" My father tried to explain as he points at the room near mine.
The ingrate of a stranger put his palm on the wall and tried standing up but abruptly fell down which got me laughing hard but stopped as a result of the glaring eyes from papa.
My father approached the man again and carried him like a bag of sack on his shoulder.
The stranger's eyes widen for a minute before bringing his head down and closing his eyes probably embarrassed.
"Eh my back, you're heavy" My Father complained as he went towards the room.
"Bring the herbs in Bintu!" My Father shouted from the room opposite mine.
"Yes papa" I answered as I packed the necessary herbs and followed inside the room.
The room was a medium-sized room containing a bamboo bed and a bamboo wardrobe at the side of the bed with a very large table and a matching chair.
The stranger now laying on the bed kept looking at us and everything around strangely.
He looks nothing less like a lost boy looking for direction or guidance.
All this Handsomeness is going to waste with this his arrogant behavior.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
