" Please, sectionals are going to be a breeze," Mercedes said, flashing a confident smile with her hand on her hip.

" Maybe so" Shoe sighed, nodding as Artie yawned behind him in his wheelchair chair.

" But if we coast through sectionals, we're gonna get killed at regionals. We have got to be on our game" Shoe exasperated, frowning as Kurt laughed at something on his phone.

Vesper wasn't even paying attention, her eyes were zeroing in on Quinn's flat stomach, unaware that Finn was currently doing the same thing next to her.

"Sorry. Funny YouTube video. It's a grape stomping one" Kurt explained, when he felt the eyes on him.

Is that a bump?

Vesper silently asked herself, feeling a bolt of excitement pass through her as her eyes squinted harder on Quinn's stomach. Vesper heard babies are the size of a sesame seed or a grain of rice at 5ish weeks.

Is that how far Quinn is along?

Vesper smiled as she thought to herself. It's probably a cute little sesame seed, our, little sesame seed.

My god, there's a baby in her stomach! Vesper again, said to herself.

A very real, breathing, moving, well maybe not yet, but still a baby.

She still found it crazy to think in some months she could be a mom.

The bell rang loudly from above snapping Vesper out of her thoughts. She shook her head, watching with a small dreamy sigh as the girl walked out of the room, hanging off Finn's arm.

Vesper bit back the jealousy she was feeling, she was tired of feeling this way and would rather push down those unwanted feelings. It's not like they were doing her any good, it only led her to feel sorry for herself and unable to sleep at night.

" Are we still up for the mall after school" Kurt popped up from beside Vesper making her blink as she turned to him and Mercedes. Vesper nodded, they had planned to go looking for some new clothes and a specific jacket, buying it if Kurt found it.

" Yeah. I'll just meet you guys in the parking lot" Vesper told him, making him grin taking a quick look at her outfit.

" Great! Now we'll finally be able to give you a makeover. I can't wait" he and Mercedes walked off with their arms connected leaving Vesper confused.

" Make" She looked over her outfit, a random band t-shirt, black cargo pants, and some sneakers. She shook her head and scoffed

" Says the baby ken"

The Glee Club went over some dance moves while Vesper sat cleaning one of the many guitars in the room.

" Great news guys! Just got the competition bracket for sectionals, and we are in really good shape. There are only two other teams. We beat them, we make it to regionals" Mr. Shoe announced to the club happily, leaving them to cheer as Vesper lazily high-fived Mercedes.

" Uh, who are the other teams?" Rachel asked, taking a step forward.

" Drumroll please, Finn" Finn did as he was told.

" School for the Deaf in Dayton and someplace called Jane Addams Academy" Shoe read off the paper.

" Jane Addams? That's a halfway house for girls just getting out of juvie" Mercedes exclaimed, making Vesper chuckle.
