Shruthi's POV
The vibrant lights of the carnival painted the night with a myriad of colors, and the lively atmosphere buzzed with excitement. Arjun and I approached the venue, feeling the infectious energy intensify with every step.
Stepping onto the carnival grounds was like entering a magical realm. The dazzling lights created a mesmerizing display, casting an enchanting glow over the surroundings. The air carried the sweet scent of cotton candy, mingling with the lively tunes of carnival music that played in the background.
Dressed in our formal attire amidst the vibrant chaos of the carnival, I couldn't help but notice the curious glances from those around us. It seemed that we stood out like an elegant anomaly in a sea of casual carnival-goers. However, the opinions of onlookers held no significance compared to the joy I felt in having Arjun by my side.
I reached out and gently entwined my fingers with Arjun's arm, a silent declaration that their stares mattered nothing. The warmth of his presence, the playful banter we shared, and the unexpected surprises of the night far outweighed any judgmental looks from strangers.
Arjun, with a mischievous glint in his eyes, leaned in and whispered, "Looks like we're stealing the show tonight, Angel."
I chuckled, "Who cares? As long as I'm stealing it with you."
As we walked through the carnival grounds, I could feel the collective gaze of the crowd lingering on us, but I held my head high, embracing the uniqueness of our evening. Arjun, ever the gentleman, navigated through the bustling crowd with ease, completely unfazed by the attention.
In that moment, it didn't matter that we were dressed in a way that defied the norm for a carnival. Arm in arm, we ventured further into the carnival, creating a memory that defied conventions and celebrated the unexpected beauty of being together.
The carnival's vibrant lights illuminated the night, casting a warm glow over the lively surroundings. Amidst the various attractions, my eyes caught sight of an archery games stall. Excitement bubbled within me as I tugged at Arjun's hand, pulling him towards the stall.
" Arjun, vaa itha panni paakalaam! Selma jollyah irukkum," I exclaimed, my eyes gleaming with anticipation.
(Arjun, let's try this! It'll be so much fun)He chuckled, a playful glint in his eyes, "Seri vaa pannalaaam".
(Alright, let's give it a shot)As we approached the stall, the friendly carnival attendant explained the rules of the game. I eagerly took the bow, ready to showcase my nonexistent archery skills. However, much to my dismay, my attempts fell short, and the arrows missed the target.
Arjun, noticing my disappointment, nudged me gently. "Angel naa venumna panni paakava?"
(Angel, do you mind if I give it a shot?)He took the bow with confidence, his focus unwavering. As he aimed and released the arrow, it hit the bullseye with precision. The crowd erupted in cheers, and I couldn't help but grin from ear to ear.
