A few weeks went by swiftly, and all those weeks were filled with enthusiasm in the training, and the confidence of bringing that evil, inhumane family down.
Every officer trained like their lives depended on it. All twenty-eight of them, including Minho and the team leader Taehyung, felt deeply passionate about gaining victory in this mission.
This mission was meant to be one of the deadliest and the hardest ones in all of their careers. And, of course, it is, as it required such long periods of training and such mental stability and physical agility.
Minho, out of all the police officers and personnel, trained with the most dedication and discipline. He would be the first one to reach the training base and the last one to leave it. Taehyung was pleased by the motivation he had.
And, like any other school exam, this too had to be tested.
Taehyung had just come from having a very 'peaceful' talk with Jihoon, which did not go so peacefully as he had sweat covered all over his forehead and his knuckles looked like they would bleed out any moment.
Besides looking famished and defeated, he had a victorious smirk decorating his lips.
Minho saw him coming. Feeling confused with his body language, the latter asked, "What's the smirk for, hyung? Got anything interesting out of that crook?"
"Guess what," the former said with a tone of suspence, "I did."
The latter male set his sniper rifle on the ground with the support of the small metal table, and turned his whole body towards the former. "Tell me all about it."
"He told me," Taehyung sat down after pulling towards himself a chair and Minho did the same thing, "that his family had planned a surprise attack at Eunjoo's house tomorrow. And, to prepare for it, they have gathered in their mansion, otherwise they would be at different corners of the country. So, to get to them, we have to attack on them today itself."
"Today?" Minho asked, "Out of all days, today?"
He felt unsure, as the team had planned to attack on the Bae's in a matter of seven weeks, but barely four weeks had passed since their training had started.
He knew he was ready, but he just did not feel that he had reached his true and utmost potential.
"See, Minho. I trust in you, and my team. I have handpicked each one of you, so I know what potential each of you has. I know you all can do it, and you guys will do it."
Taehyung encouraged his companion, knowing that all he needs is just some reassurance. And that is exactly what Minho needed.
This was all when the time had not even ticked to six in the morning.
~
Now, it was almost half past nine. All the teammates and their team leader, Taehyung, had gathered around, talked the plan over one more time, and were now preparing themselves to start moving to the mansion they so wanted to demolish and take down.
Most of them.
One of the comrades, Minsoo, who had tagged along the team after proving his abilities to every member of the team, looked a little more happier than expected.
And it was not the triumphant kind of happy, it was a psychopathic kind of happy. Well, that was what our fellow Minho felt.
He felt it weird. He wanted to ask Minsoo what the problem was, and he was just about to approach him when Taehyung called everyone up to the police van. (guys, i srsly dont know what those big bus-like vans are called whic are owned by police forces ao bear w me. heh)
