"Hee-hee-hee-hee-hee!" Natt robotically laughed, taunting the quarter-saiyan. "You're outclassed, little girl! Take my advice and surrender!"

Pan's blood boiled, after the Robotic Hell she had nearly escaped from, there was no chance of that happening.

Gritting her teeth, she roared. "Never!"

Leaping to her feet, she made a mad-dash for the Sigma Force robot, punching directly for it. The smaller robot only melted into the wall, escaping, with Pan causing a dent where Natt previously was. Natt only appeared elsewhere to taunt Pan, with Pan slamming her fist into the wall again. The process repeated several times, with Pan even opting to fire a large blast at the wall; but still to no avail.

"It's useless, you fool." Natt taunted again.

Pan hissed, before getting an idea. She teleported away, before preparing a blast.

"Over here, pal!" she taunted back.

"The hand is quicker than the eye!" the robot replied, before firing a missile, but not at Pan.

Within less than a second, Pan feinted, teleporting elsewhere to fire her blast, only to be struck by the missile fired by Natt: her move had been predicted. Slamming into the ground, Pan growled in anger.

"You... trash compactor!"

Natt only re-appeared to taunt again. "That was a sneaky little trick that you tried. I bet you're wondering how I knew exactly what you were going to do next..."

Pan paused. Actually... How did he know that?

"Well... You can thank the one you call 'Giru' for that."

The quarter-saiyan's heart sank. No... Please, no...

"He recorded all of your fights and stored them in his files. It's all been downloaded into my memory banks. I know every move that you make!"

Pan's eyes began to fill with tears, falling to her knees, she slammed her fists against the hard metal.

Why? Why, Giru? The truth was Pan didn't have many friends outside of her family. Sure, they had some issues, and sure, she had hit him a few times, but they had good times too. Playing video games, searching for Dragon Balls. They were friends. They were friends.

In this timeline, something changed in Pan. It's possible it was due to simply the believed betrayal of her friend, possibly due to her own issues of not being taken seriously in her family, or perhaps simply due to the power inherited by her father. Regardless of the cause, Pan's sadness transitioned to pain, and that pain slowly transitioned... into power.

"Giru... How could you..? I trusted you... " she mumbled. "I was your friend..."

For a brief second Pan's eyes flashed green, before Pan let out a pained scream.

"I was your friend!"

With a final blood-curdling scream, Pan's aura expanded, a golden light exploding throughout the room, the pressure becoming so intense Natt's frame began to contort before overloading.

Natt's body fell from the wall, before crashing into the floor and beginning to shut down.

Pan only gritted her teeth, before tightening her bandana over new, golden spiked hair, then bringing her hands forward, firing a blast through the wall. With that, she raced through the halls, eventually finding the room she was looking for; the one holding Goku and Trunks.

"Alright..." Pan spoke, her voice was calm, but it was obvious to everyone in the room she was clearly not. "Where's my grandpa..?"

"How did you find this lab, girl?" Nezi spoke up.

"You defective robots are easy to find..."

Goku perked up, his eyes wide in excitement. "Pan, you're a Super Saiyan!"

His excitement was short-lived, however, as Bizu quickly appeared behind Pan, ready to attack her.

"Pan! Watch out!"

Bizu struck Pan with an open hand, only for his hand to stop completely; Pan not moving in the least. Pan shot Goku a smile, before turning around and smirking at Bizu, raising her own hand.

"My turn."

In a single slap, Pan sliced the robot in half, exploding it in a glorious blaze. With two Sigma Force units down, and two to go, Pan only glared at the terrified robots.

"...Could I perchance talk you out of this..?" Nezi perked up, forcing a chuckle.

"You know all of my moves... You tell me..."

With a single blast each, the Sigma Force was no more, and in no time Goku and Trunks were free from their constraints. While Goku was ecstatic at Pan's transformation and Trunks was blown away, Pan only had one thing on her mind.

"Where. Is. Giru?"

From here the timeline diverges greatly from the one you know. With the Sigma Force dismantled, the lack of Trunks' capture, and Pan's newfound strength; when came time to battle General Rilldo, the Machine Mutant hardly stood a chance. The trio would go off in order to find the Dragon Balls, and could come face-to-face with Giru. Explanations would occur, and while Goku and Trunks were quick to forgive the small robot, Pan would continue to hold a grudge with him.

Feelings aside, Giru would guide the trio to Dr. Myuu and his creation: Baby, both of which would be killed. With him destroyed, Baby would never take the Black Star Dragon Balls for himself, therefore the our heroes would return to Earth, and use the balls to prevent its destruction.

This story shows the power of our emotions, and how they can change the entire world. Pan allowed her grief and pain to transform into power, power that would save not only her family, but lead to the saving of her entire planet. Never forget that you have that power, too. The power to turn what appears to be negative into something positive, and to use that positivity to help others. I am the Supreme Kai of Time, and these are the Tales of the Xenoverse.
