What if Android 17 Destroyed Android 18?

"Dear #18, come to your senses... and join with me..." Android 17 smiled, speaking in a cool, almost comforting tone. "We belong together... deep down you know..."

Android 18 stepped back, as Krillin turned to both his wife and daughter. His blood was running cold... He had a bad feeling about this...

"It would be fantastic if you joined us to destroy these people, and everything they've worked for..."

Android 17 shot a smile. It was terrifying, it was filled with such evil, and yet, bliss. It was almost as if he truly believed what he was saying, that this was his destiny.

"After all... we are best buddies..."

As he spoke, Android 17's eyes began to gain a pink glow, sending a shiver down Krillin's spine. Looking towards 18 in desperation, his heart sank as 18's eyes began to develop the same glow.

"We are friends, forever..." Android 18 mumbled, almost as if she were talking in her sleep. "We're meant to be together..."

In the same trance, 18 began to walk towards her brother, leaving her family behind.

"It's time for me to go home. It's been so very long."

17 nodded, wagging his finger towards himself. "Yes, you and I are partners..."

Krillin's heart was racing, as he watched his wife walk away from him. The memories of the person she once was, and what she could've become terrified him... and the thought of her returning to that life, and fulfilling her mission scared him even more.

"Don't do it, 18!" he called out to his wife in pure distress, trying his best to appeal to the good he knew was still within her. "You can't do this, 18! You have a child, and a husband!"

18 stopped, before looking towards Krillin, snapping out the daze; her eyes returning to their blue color.

17 only rolled his eyes. "Give me a break, shorty. Android 18 is just that, an Android like me, built by the brilliant Dr. Gero."

"Brilliant?" Krillin echoed, turning towards Android 17 with a look of mixed confusion and disgust. "How could you even think to call a monster like him 'brilliant'? You destroyed him yourself, remember?"

Almost working the same as his sister, Android 17 froze, the pink in his eyes nearly fading.

"You resented him so much because he gave you human emotions!"

17 paused for a moment, pondering his thoughts, his own true nature nearly returning.

"He... gave me emotions..? And I killed him..?"

Stopping him from going any further, the voice of the other Android 17 rang in his brain.

"What are you doing, 17? Snap out of it!" it hissed, growing impatient. "You have to come find me, our time has come!"

"You can't take her! She's not a part of you anymore!" Krillin reinstated.

The voices grew louder in Android 17's head, convincing him slowly but surely, eventually he agreed with them fully. He held out his hand, aimed directly for Krillin.

"You're right!" 17 shouted, firing a blast right through Krillin, killing him instantly.

As Krillin's family mourned his death, Android 17's connection with the other 17 re-structuralized. After a moment, he turned back to Android 18, prepared to make one final offer.

18 didn't even let him speak, whipping her head at 17 she hissed. "You killed him... You killed him!"

In the blink of an eye, she attacked her brother, blinded by her rage, and throwing him into a nearby building.
