What if Vegeta Fused with Future Trunks?

Goku let out a massive roar as he dashed straight for Merged Zamasu, his arms hanging limp at his sides, with the rest of his body moving from sheer determination alone. His legs being his best option, he rapidly kicked the fusion, even spinning and flipping to string more attacks together.

Merged Zamasu gritted his teeth, grabbing one of Goku's legs and gripping it tightly, encasing his own hand in ki in order to burn the Saiyan's flesh.

Goku screamed in pain, before gritting his teeth, turning his pain into power. He let out another roar, before engulfing himself in a red aura.

"KAIO-KEN!"

"What the-?"

With the short-lived boost, Goku freed himself from the Dark Kai's grip, before kicking him away.

"KAIO-KEN... TIMES TEN!"

This is where the timelines split. In an act of pure desperation, Goku used everything he had, and more, continuing his assault, in an attempt to either burn through Zamasu's Healing Factor or at least buy enough time. That was his goal, and he did all he could to get through it.

His red aura doubling in size, Goku flew to reach Merged Zamasu again, before kicking him upwards, backflipping in the air, before flying upwards, headbutting the fusion, before hitting him with a spin kick to the face.

Meanwhile, the Supreme Kai of both Universe 7 and 10 would call Vegeta and Future Trunks, as Gowasu had thought of a plan.

"Look at Zamasu's body. It's healing, yes, but notice that as Goku continues to wear down on his body, the healing slows down. Goku must've realized this, so he's trying to overload it so that Zamasu can be defeated."

Vegeta rolled his eyes. "Still, we're fighting a losing battle, aren't we? Now that the Future Zamasu is in that guy, the Fusion's immortal too, right?"

Gowasu shook his head. "Not necessarily. Zamasu's body isn't fully immortal, as Black's body wasn't. This seems to have weakened immortality. He can heal from his wounds, yes, but his body is still partially mortal. That means there's a limit that it can take."

Future Trunks nodded, starting to understand. "Do you mean Goku can defeat him?"

Gowasu shook his head again.

"No. The power to wear out Zamasu's regeneration would have to be far more powerful than anything a single mortal can do."

Vegeta punched the ground. "So, it's hopeless, then."

"Again, not necessarily..."

With that Gowasu brought his hands to his ears, before removing his Potara earrings.

Shin smiled brightly. "Yes, of course! The Potara earrings will allow Vegeta and Trunks to fuse, as well! With their combined strength they should be able to overpower Zamasu with no problem at all!"

"Out of the question." Vegeta spoke flatly, surprising Shin, Gowasu, and even Future Trunks.

"But Father, this is our only chance!"

Gowasu sighed, before nodding.

"I understand. It would be asking a lot of anyone to even consider the idea of sacrificing their free will, if not even for a single hour."

"An hour?" Shin repeated with a confused tone. "I thought fusion with Potara Earrings lasted for eternity."

"When a Supreme Kai is involved, yes. But between mortals, the fusion lasts only an hour."

Vegeta paused to rethink the situation.

His son was right, as much as he hated to admit it. They only had two Senzu's left, and no doubt Kakarot was going to need one after he was done. Not to mention every second he wasted, Kakarot would be endangering his life more.
